They aren't lazy but that's the trick. If they provide it all the best in one edition than no one gonna buy next editions. Their sales will reduce as people are satisfied with one edition itself. It's like they could laugh iPhone 14 technology in 2015 itself but didn't.

Okay, Undertaker 2009...coat is too short and the hat is basically the once originally used for the Undertaker '91 that is no longer in the game, secondly the pyro is not placed well on the stage, thirdly they half ass the trons with the Undertaker '03 model....theres alot of things about this 2K that could have been done better to make it more like how it is in real life...i dont know why its like this but seriously..

Also Undertaker 98 is not Undertaker 98. It is Undertaker 99 (Ministry) with his 1998 theme and not any theme from 1999. I wish they'd get this right. Either it is Undertaker 98 with Undertaker 98's theme then fix the attire. If it is Ministry Undertaker, call him Undertaker 99, give him a Ministry theme and its done.

@@c.j.fisher6507 Yeah this specific Undertaker model is Undertaker from WrestleMania XV which is another match they could have put in the showcase. The theme to go with that attire is called Buried Souls so there’s the tools to fix it.

Why is the ring not glowing blue with his entrance lighting in any of the non badass era entrances? Why did they not use his ministry slow song instead of his darkness theme when he was a face?

Not only do they use the wrong theme for his ministry entrance but also the turnbuckle motion is incorrect , he never lifted his arms like that whilst he was doing the ministry gimmick. He did that in ‘98 . It’s like they merged his ‘98 and ‘99 gimmicks together . Small details but it’s annoying if your into getting stuff like that correct

Honestly, there is nothing new in the Undertaker versions. Everything is the same, even the wrestler's entrance is similar? I did not find any improvements, especially the 2003 character. The current 2024 character, like the previous part, is nothing exciting, unfortunately.

It’s what 2K do; They’re lazy. There’s so many moves that need to re-animated and updated, yet they continue to put out the same move lists and animations every year. Despite the bullshit marketing narrative of saying there’s been “over 5000 reanimations or newly animated moves”. It’s just general laziness. That’s why the game’s feel the same, each and every year. THQ did this, too. But at least you did see some changes and improvements over the years. 2K’s WWE games are no different than EA Sports’ sports titles. Same shit, different year.

I think both themes are versión simular. Darkness has an e guitar at the beginning and Ministry Undertaker mumbling a dark prayer. Personally I like Darkness more.
