The Wigglers in Maple Treeway don't hurt you in Mario Kart Wii. Also the Leaf Pile (a specific one) will give you a star in Mario Kart Wii.

For the boo, it gives you a mushroom if there is no items to take in front of you. You were in first, therefore you only got mushrooms

@Chumbucket77: They change the rules in the recent update, now if your in First, it can steal item from the other, I do not know if that rules only applied in Custom mode, or in vs mode only.

In the wave three update, it was changed that boos can steal items from any placement. What’s happening here is the game defaults to mushrooms because there is no other item available. This also happens when only the crazy eight item is turned on. The game will only give the player singular mushrooms, and occasionally a crazy eight of mushrooms circling around them.

Some other stuff they changed is: - lightning now does not take away your glider if you struck while gliding - item unicity is gone. Meaning that in any game mode, even if custom items are turned off and regular items are on, items like the blue shell or lightning do not have a cap on how many players can have the item at a time. For example, before the update there could only be one blue shell in game at a time, so if you had a blue shell it meant nobody else could get one from an item box until you threw it. This is now, so it’s possible to get blue shelled 3 times in a row on a regular match lol. - invincibility frames after being hit by an item is now a hidden stat when kart building. Antigravity speed was also added in this update iirc but I’m not sure about that one.

For the myth related to Moonview Highway (From the Wii) and it's moon, it's possible that the person who sent you the myth was referring to a specific sign on the track where typically a characters face is shown on it, so with the Mii character clause, it would be switched to a Mii if one is used as your race character.

Yes it's the sign with Peach on it as well as a moon next to her, Peach changes into a Mii and the moon turns into the face of a Mii

If everyone only has boo’s the boo will steal a mushroom, but not from anyone, if someone has a mushroom they will only get that item stolen from them, if you only have boos in your inventory, you will not get your item stolen, unless a mushroom is in your main slot

7:30 that's the wrong moon there is a picture of the moon in the city section of moon view highway with a pic of Mario that's usually in front of it but when using a mii the picture of Mario will be replaced by a mii

Here's one I have, there's a secret warp pipe at the start of Mushroom Bridge if you take a sharp right (GCN Version only) Edit: One other thing I should mention, Stars can appear in leaf piles, albeit it was exclusive to Mario Kart 7's Maple Treeway.

Mario kart Wii actually has an ultra shortcut in warios gold Mine where you bounce of a pipe behind the finish line if you jump on it from the front and get a good respawn or even clip through the bottom.

For the one with the boo on London Loop, the boo gives you a shroom as default if, uh, it didn't manage to steal anything at all. That is a well known change from its last appearance in DS where it actually won't give you anything at all if it didn't get anything to begin with. Also, I think you can only steal items from players in front of you, but judging from the Link npc who just refuses to steal your boo, I guess that is a solidly busted myth.

It’s probably because you’re either already holding a star or they removed it from wave 3. 8:04 *Who let the chomps out?* 9:08 Seems they changed that too. Back in Mariokart 7 you could go over the log using a mushroom.

I already learned the item box randomizer sound is different in Waluigi Pinball from Mario Kart DS. And certain things DO change on Moonview Highway when you play as your Mii on that course. An ad for Mushroom Moon changes the face of Peach and Mario to random Miis, and the head of a Fire Flower changes to a random Mii each time you play the course. Also, the Sphinx head at Dry Dry Ruins changes to a random Mii each you race on the course as a Mii.
