photon blades blocking bullets was actually talked about but didnt really get anywhere. you can block photon npcs with greataxe and sledgehammer.

Erm actually, when Photon Blades first released they WERE blockackle, and errm yes, the Tact Knife was able to block them 🤓

You can parry photons with greataxe, the heavy has higher penetration and therefore cannot be parried. If you try with a regular swing, it will block

In pvp you can only block photon blades with photon blades but in pve even a knife can block photon blades

photon blades used to be parriable before the addition of the greataxe but sometime slightly before or after the greataxe's addition photon blades became exclusively parriable by other photons (I only know this because I 1v1'd a photon blade heavy armor kit with sledge and killed them)

nah , player wielded photons can only be blocked by other photons . AI however can be blocked by normal melees

It's to make it more fair since AI has infinite stamina and so you don't need to bring PB blades on every Waves and ACCESS DENIED mission
