There was a legend that when you put a squid in the nether. It will have a multi eyes (red eyes) with a scary teeth in it. Sadly its now a myth, you can try that in the old minecraft which it works.

Bedrock is possible to break it just takes a really long time, if you were to use a pickaxe it could work you just have to sit there for a very long time. In fact, every block in Minecraft is breakable, some just take a longer time then others.
