This guys right. I live in Minnesota and there’s crappie in basically every lake and I’ve had good luck with 1.5 inch rapala x raps for crappies. Keep fishing brother!

What length rod and action do you use for that application? Nice video!

I swapped all my xrap trebles out to 7237 vmc inline hooks. Gives the lure a bit better action and the hookup % i dont notice changing. Lets you fish through the trash a bit easier and unhookingbfish is a breeze. Especially when the pike get ahold of these smaller baits. Usually it hooks them on the lip vs deep in te mouth.

I'm new to your channel even more so to fishing for pan fish and bass. Will have to fish from the bank but it's doable. Love watching and especially the underwater photography, it's awesome. Of course us lefties recognize other lefties. lol. I enjoy you methods and how to's and the way they are presented. I'm 69+ and very interested. I would still love to hang into some big cats and have the equipment for it but and now slowly finding out what I need for your kinda fishing. Thanks a ton.

cool vid man-here in west virginia the spring is the time for both black and white crappie on hard baits;especially in the mighty kanawha river.i caught one female that was atleast a pound on a strike king series 3 crankbait in Tenessee Shad the other day and thought I had a Largemouth on..She smoked it!!I been wanting to downsize and throw a Ripstop and my I Prop 75 as soon as my Shimano Medium action rod gets here...
