Brisbane transport now is operating the 311/312/326/327 and i Dunno what they are going to with 99 and 162 now, wonder if they will send them to the Clontarf depot or something?

Its an interesting question, but from what I've been able to find in research and anecdotally, it is often easier for operators to adopt a 'one size fits all' model. The biggest cost for most bus operations, is a driver, and unless there are specific needs for a smaller bus (like very tight streets), a full size bus is more versatile and can be utilised across the broader network more easily.
