As a shepherd here in New Zealand in 1968 my lambing beat/round was 8,000 ewes over steep hill country.Overall the property ran 40,000 ewes and ended up with 110,000 lambs. Most were destined for the English Xmas market.

Hi Nicola, you have so many ewes to still lamb and that means you will be busy for a long time. Yes, they all look good considering all the rain you had earlier. You will have to train Davie better, not getting your lunch is a bad start for him. I assume your dad is looking after the cattle while you do the sheep, a good team working well. I love listening to your unique Scottish voice, its so different from the lingo in Aussie. Looking forward to hearing your news. Chris from Victoria, Australia 🇦🇺.

Tedious work with vaccinations, required shots and just basic up keep of your all your animals but always a treat to see how it gets done in these behind the scenes videos too! Your dogs do a brilliant with verbal commands! I always have protein bars stashed around the warehouse that I work in and now many of my coworkers do the same so we are all the time popping into each others goody places to see who has the best treats for the day!🤣 Really looking forward to next weeks video with your bit of teasing of up coming exciting news! Oh...your Drone shots are awesome too! glad you had some decent Sunshine when out in the fields! MOO From COW-lumbus, Ohio

Reference the ring feeder, have you ever thought about something like a Hustler bale unroller?
@richardbutler794610 ай бұрын
Would you consider putting a sprinkle of lime around the ring feeders to try and prevent lameness..my father swore by it

Mmmm Cadbury's Creme Eggs -love 'em. getting smaller by the year -probably smaller than a sparrow's egg now. Glad your letting us know about eating beef or lamb or pork--got to for iron and B vitamins especially B12. Nice to see you got a good day- well dry anyway for the job. You are a natural shepherdess. Did you have lamb casserole or kebabs for lunch???
