Busy Road Camp. A Bit Risky!

Thank you😅 i have been in your shoes at 18 fresh out of trade school looking for a BIG adventure.......cream soda my favorite......so i purchased a 100 moped in indiana and headed toward the Arctic circle on the Yukon River all alone and three months tenting with no nice pad to recover from the long days..remote camp like yours every evening.....i feel your search to rest and feel invisable.....i did it and returned safe from Alaska 1968 when 18.....Timmy ...Talbot. indiana..by bye

great spot,its getting cold here and the trees are all bare now, i have the same bivy tent but havnt used it yet, i also have the larger geertop bivy tent too and havnt used that one either, maybe someday soon.

@@simpleoutdoors1 Thanks Tim! I like the bivy for the size, but it does collect condensation inside a lot. I would love a good double walled small bivy. If anyone makes them.

If i was doing stealth camping I'd modify a garden rake head ...cut it down to about 10" wide... design it to fit over a branch... and use to rake my camping spot

@@philbarbetta1213 Thank you! It is a GEERTOP ultralight single person bivy tent. I got mine from Amazon I would not call it ultralight, but it is not bad.

@@savagewolf1966 I bet it is getting chilly up there! Virginia weather is whacky. We were in the 80's a week ago with mid 60's at night. Today is 47 with rain, and the nightly temps are in the upper 30's now.
