I LOVE your videos! I only encountered you on KZbin about a month ago, and I have since then feasted on your wonderful past content. You provide so much valuable and honest information about your experiences in gardening, and are very, very inspiring. I am currently building a mostly herbaceous border (with some structural shrubs) and enjoy dreaming and planning during these dark evenings. Greetings to you from the south coast of the UK, and thank you.

I need a bigger yard! So many ideas to try this year and not enough space. I love that you plant things in the shady areas of your yard, knowing that you won’t get the full potential of the plant. I think even a few flowers is better than none at all. I have been pleasantly surprised at some of my experiments also. Thanks for another great video to follow up part one.

This has been so encouraging for me! All of the growing tips to go along with each one is super appreciated too. Loved all of it, but I must say, the tip about growing the Fever Few everywhere really got my attention. Looking at your picture, it not only made the garden look cohesive but it was a perfect filler plant. I mean, you didn't have any "holes" around the other plants - it really gave your garden a saturated & lush look.🔥💜

@@ydoyougarden I have two flower beds on either side of my walkway; one mostly in shade & the other full sun. It never looks "balanced" because the shaded plants don't do as well. So, I'm going to try the Fever Few to counteract that. Then is won't matter that the other plants in both beds aren't the same varieties - hopefully. I love your idea, gotta try it! THX! 😀

Love your video Yuliya. My personal experience with verbascum is that it self sows absolutely everywhere. It grows like mad in our woods and along trails. Agree about the cleome doing the same but it's worth the deer barrier it provides. They do not like the aroma. P.S. God bless our animals!

Great tips and thank you! I've ordered more than 80 one gallon Cats PJs to plant in March zone 6a. It will be on my lakefront area about 100 x 10' that area is a mix of grasses including zoysia. I was planning on laying down Dewitt Pro 5 landscape paper but was uncertain if might prevent the Nepita from spreading. I don't want to fight the grass either.

Thank you for update! I couldn't agree more -- black velvet nasturtiums looked too much like the usual orange... Going creamy with "Yeti" this year to bring in beneficial insects since it is in our raised veg beds where trailing is less of an issue.... BTW China asters are hardy annuals, aren't they? It seems to me these could be winter sown too.

It's interesting to see how some plants can be weeds or ornamentals in different gardens. Ageratums are very agressive here in Assam and i have 100s dare i say thousands all over my garden in winter-spring blooming their heads off into a sea of blue as they re seed year after year. My advice to warm climate gardeners is- DO NOT PLANT AGERATUMS if you cannot take care of their reseeding problem. Or else they're a huge headache 😭😭 but i have to say that they're pretty tough plants as i can see them all over the roadsides and in people's lawns 🤷♂️
