Such a beautiful garden tour! I love the balloon flowers too. They are so worth deadheading! From the pillowy balloon shape to the gorgeous deep blue color to the star ⭐️ center! FYI I winter sowed Cleome after seeing them in your garden and am just loving them! I’m in NY zone 5b. They are producing seed pods now and plan to share and distribute in another area of my garden. Thank you for your inspiration! 😘🌸🌻🌹🧚🏻♂️🐝

Love your gorgeous garden and combination of colors! All your hard work and labor of love is so much appreciated and joyful. Your gray bird in the background is called the "Catbird" because that sound mimics that of a kitten. It also has a beautiful song and chirp, similar to the Mockingbird. They are a friendly, trainable bird, love blue berries and red grapes. Be sure to cut any fruit larger than one fourth of an inch into smaller chunks. They also feed them to their babies. They are said to travel south during the colder weather and return to their same home. Ours seemingly remember us and have us trained to feed them fruit morning and eve before the sun sets. They get very close to us, seek and find us and ask to be fed their fruit. Many blessings to you!

Hello, I am a new subscriber and I am a little obsessed I admit it. You have a very similar aesthetic in the garden that I do. You helped me articulate that I much prefer cool flower colors to warm especially in the middle of the summer in Kansas. I’m also a transplant from the East Coast so I am always trying to replicate a New England garden in the Prairie., with varying success LOL. Your passion for flowers isContagious. Thanks for your commitment to documenting it all.

Clematis are well known for that illness but they recover only and only if radicals cut backs occurs, right to the ground, exactly the way you said you did. Nor the soil nor watering or who knows what else people might be using to bring back a clematis to life, helps, but cut baby cut back to the ground.! :-)) Great video, as usual. Stay healthy, happy and loved!

Yes, that's what I did. Just bite the bullet and cut it to the ground. It hurts when you do it but then BAM - flowers 😊🌝

I use super phosphate and potash to correct any plants that aren't showing enough flowers. I also plant up the devil's strip but the garbage guys and others kept on trampling my russian sage so I interplanted with barberry on the side, hehehe (evil laugh). No more trampling.
