Regardless of genre, a great song is a great song. In our defense, most of us “baby boomers” love a wide variety of music. We were fortunate enough to have been exposed to everything from the old crooners to the Four Tops, Supremes, Martha and the Vandellas, Whitney Houston, countless soul artists, folk music, Johnny Cash, many wonderful country music artists, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, and countless great rock stars. We also have loved Pavarotti, Andre Bocelli, many beautiful operas, many wonderful musicals and musicians. Are we narrow minded? I don’t think so! A little bit spoiled, perhaps, but NOT narrow minded! This 70 year old lady watches Dovydas every time one of his videos comes on KZbin. I absolutely LOVE him. He is extremely talented and he has a great personality…. You could learn some valuable lessons from him. Kindness and patience goes a long way! With love from an old “baby boomer”! Lol!😍 I hope someday, when you’re my age, you’ll have as many wonderful musical memories!🎵🎶🎸Take care & God bless everyone.❤️

This interview held its own in interest and information for sure. Great questions! The fun and humor was a plus! We learned more about Dovydas’ song writing and development as a musician as well as plans for the future. Touring stories were great, too! Loved the attitude of doing your own thing and defying being labeled or categorized. Some people don’t catch on that auto tune is fun and another musical tool. Just as early looping by the Beatles went mainstream and synthesizers and computer generated sound can add to a musician’s toolbox. Dovydas has info about equipment on his KZbin posts which is a handy share to other artists. Appreciated the mention of McKnight because we’ve learned so much subscribing to his channel. Great job guys! 👍

Open-minded boomer here who watches all DØVYDAS videos (thank you Jill). One thing boomers had an advantage was actually seeing many music legends LIVE before they passed on... For the rest of you, it is ancient history. These days, people even stop attending huge live performances, rather instead wanting to see music online. I am thrilled to hear DØVYDAS willing to collaborate with anyone. I like these interviews as they bring out more than music, it shows how intelligent DØVYDAS is about music history and genres and the industry in general. I hope he never stops experimenting with music and equipment and blending genres into something new. Bottom line at the bottom: DØVYDAS has done a lot for promoting other channels, musicians, good products. Some have really seen their channels and products grow based on just recommendation from DØVYDAS (St. Armands Circle being one example, "they" so could have increased good will bounced off DØVYDAS instead of alienating online viewers.

That’s what I was saying in the podcast! I know he gets that song request all the time, but every time he plays it, everyone watching still loves it. Most of those people have only seen him play the one time too. I like watching people in the crowd make memories while he plays that song. 😭😭😭

Having a firearm for protection is not "ridiculous"...the bad guys have guns, so why shouldn't the good guys...I carry to the convenience store by the interstate and have prevented an armed robbery and a mugging...I never fired a shot...the "presence" of a good guy with a firearm made them change their minds...I believe in self defense because there is never a cop there when the incident occurs...local deputies told me that they appreciate those of us that carry because we actually help them do their job...I don't want to be a cop, too many rules...but I absolutely will run towards fire and gunfire to help...and if you are like me, you best not run towards gunfire without being able to protect yourself...
