It's so sweet the way Peach Kitty has so completely accepted Summer. He is slowly becoming more friendly and less scared.

He could be tamed in no time. He loves catnip & he's food oriented. And he'd probably be forever grateful! Maybe some day in the not so distant future..? Please consider it??😢😊

Do you think he might have been left behind a long time ago? He's used to being outside but he's okay with people on his own terms. ❤

No, we actually had him his siblings and his mom TNR’d when the kittens were just a couple of months old. They were all outside feral cats. His mom and siblings are still pretty feral. But he’s always been friendlier than the rest of his family.

Do you plan to take him in as he gets to trust you more? I think you should he’s a darling boy and Summer seems fine with him and vice versa. It’s been a while since you’ve had a ‘regular’ non supermodel kitty like Binga and Boodie. He could be looked after by someone when you and Summer travel, have his outdoor space. You can even have a catio so they both can go out unattended and be safe. After 7 years of being good in the fenced in backyard, Pearl has suddenly gotten a taste for more adventure and has made several escape attempts by crawling up and on to stuff, finding little crevices here and there, so I decided enough was enough and purchased a catio enclosure. It’s pretty large, has shelves, a bridge etc. Pearl has pica so I cannot allow her to free roam anywhere where she might come in to contact with something poisonous she might try to eat, but also I do not believe in letting cat’s free roam endlessly. I’ve had rescues that contracted FIV, were abused and in hoarding situations before I adopted them and know the horrible effects that comes with the poor souls. Just a few blocks from where we live a cat was recently mauled to death and others have disappeared, were hit by cars. This catio will allow her to have grass to play in and be kept safe while enjoying the fresh air safely. We also have a harness, leash and an adventure backpack that she gets out in, so she is living her best life despite what some say about keeping cats indoors. Anyway, I think this darling, smart boy would make a great addition to the family. My one and only mancat years ago who was Ms. Phoebe’s brother at the time was a former feral who showed up one winter. It took almost a year before he let us near him but in time he became a beloved family member who loved to be loved. Kaspars was with us 14 wonderful years and while always a bit skittish, he was a love bug. He totally changed my perception about feral cats not being able to live as family cats. With time and patience they can. Kaspars was always an outdoor cat about 80% who came and stayed in at night. He always stayed in the yard, guarding his parameter. I adore and miss him everyday, despite his passing 7 years ago.

We are working with the peach kitty, but it is a long process! And you know, you can't push it with ferals. They come around in their own time.
