Crying praying for my former partner. I was gay and then got cancer.. and then I became a Christian and left my 5 year relationship. It’s not like I stopped having feelings for that guy, but something in me changed so drastically that I had to break up with him.. I’ve healed a bit but it still hurts. However God’s ways will be worth it. If you’re reading this, pray for my former partner, that he too one day might be saved. Edit: I just want to say thank you for the encouraging comments. My father used to go to the temple to pray alone before going to work. On the day he died, he was found alone in the church, kneeling, lying on the Bible. The passage he was meditating on that day was Psalm 37. I have this passage as a letter from my father to me. I miss him, but I know where he is and that I have two fathers taking care of me.

Lord Jesus please give me strength help me forgive others that lie on me and say that my testimony isn’t real. I believe this is simply the devil making me lose hope and it’s working. Lord I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I’m trying to balance everything but Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. Jesus hear my prayers and please continue to give me strength.

As someone who used to be kind, softhearted, forgiving and loving. I now no longer recognise the person I’ve become. I’ve been hurt by people who claim to be righteous, filled with the Holy Spirit, servants of Christ… I thought people from Church would never hurt me.. but they hurt me more than the people from the world have. I trusted them, believed them. Had faith that they just made a mistake and that it does not define who they really are. I kept hoping that they would change and things between us would be good again. But I was wrong, they kept disappointing me. Plotting against me. Hurting me. Using me. Deceiving me. Tempting me. Manipulating me. And so much more…. I still had love for them, and forgave them. And continued going to church even if there were rumours being spread about me. People would give me dirty or weird looks. People would whisper. People would smirk and be proud of how they got to do what they did to me because of my naiveness and foolishness. I felt so uncomfortable but I continued going, and searched for strength to not give up. Unfortunately it got to the point where I stoped hoping for a change. I stoped having faith in those people. I stopped seeing good in them. I stopped believing that things would get better. It made me bitter, angry and heartbroken… I no longer go to that church anymore, and I struggle with depression and all sorts of things come to my mind. I’m so conflicted with my emotions. I loose sleep. I barely feel good. I’m tired mentally, physically and spiritually. I feel like I’m crushed in spirit. I gave my everything to those people. Love. Pure love. And all they did was plot against me from the start. Never cared for me. Never even liked me. I ask myself “who do they pray to? Who is their God?“ Because surely if it’s Jesus , they wouldn’t be doing the things they do. We all sin. But it’s something completely different when you’re in church 24/7 at every service, and worship, praise and have a role in the church. And you do things purposefully to hurt another person from church, and then laugh at them when they cry because of what you’ve done to them.. I’m struggling in believing in good. I feel like no one loves me. No one cares about me. And I struggle with feeling love towards other people. Because I’ve been feeling so hurt by those that I trusted the most, that I question God and his people. I’m loosing faith in God. I don’t know what I believe anymore. God is not at fault for the actions of those people. But while I’m alone, lonely in pain and sorrow. They are out happy, receiving blessings, and things are going so well for them. I ask God, is this justice ? How do they get to be so happy, at peace, blessed, gifted yet I am so alone, cursed and pushed to the side after being damaged and broken when I never did them any wrong? ….

So I must stay strong, put my focus on God, forgive and move on. It has been so difficult but God is working and I know he has a purpose for everything. How can we hear it? Scripture tells us. Romans 10:17 "Then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (We receive the "word" in many ways. The "Word" is Jesus Christ!); John 1:1-5. God the Holy Spirit teaches through the Word of God in the Bible. The Birth of Jesus Christ Isaiah 7: 14: "Therefore the LORD shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call His name Immanuel." Hebrew: עִמָּנוּאֵל, "God with us" in human flesh but without sin. The Savior of the world was born to die for our sins! He did so 33 years later. His terrible ordeal; body mutilated; blood poured out, finally died (John 19:30; Luke 23:46 ) and was placed in a tomb and rose from the dead the 3rd day ! "HE IS RISEN" Matthew 28: 6. Isaiah 53:" 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." - IT IS FOUNDED UPON GOD'S LOVE FOR MAN AND WOMAN HE CREATED John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3: 23 " For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 "1 Corinthians 15: 3 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" BY GOD'S GRACE ALONE THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST ARE WE SAVED Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast." Jesus died and paid the penalty for our sins to rescue us from eternal death. He died on our behalf. We believe in Him, trusting His death and shedding of His blood as payment for ALL our sins and His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day! John 20:24-31; 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 above.
