Playful and affectionate colors, restricted form does send back to another intangible cultural heritage. Flower arrangement was practiced with music, brewing tea, hanging painting, reciting/composing poem by Chinese scholars (literati). This style of floral art did influence floral art of Japan back then, it's over thousand years older compared to Japanese art form. Many new things are well forgotten old ones. It's a good thing they come back alive taking new forms. Historical connections between art forms are much appreciated. Looking forward to English translation of this. Having that this artist has Japanese English and Chinese channels makes me wonder, the school is quite unique practicing floral art with other arts. Their flower arrangement is not lonely (at least that's how one comment was translated from Japanese) it's part of practice. I wonder what poem would go with this and what kind of tea now. This way is a way to understand scholar's mind. That is most interesting.
