This used to be commonplace. It isn’t now because modern metal has had the personality and fire sucked from it. Maybe an economic force as much as a cultural one. Bands, even reasonably well-established ones, exist by a thread now as there’s no money in music. Bands of yesteryear were essentially gods and could do what they wanted. They were in demand regardless of how drunk or high they were. Slash could play a solo fucked out of his mind, miss half the notes and still be playing sold out arenas a year later. Now, if a guitarist hasn’t had their vitamin supplement or misses a yoga session it jeopardises the commercial viability of the band.

About 5 or 6 years ago for me, but pretty much the same. I clicked on a video and next thing you know. Their first two records were great. And they have an EP out too, I believe. I didn't really like Lillith too much. A tad too mellow for me. But this record looks like a return to form for them, so I'm hoping it's a little heavier. This is my first time listening to a song from it, but I liked it. I see the rest of the album has audio tracks posted, so I'll listen to the rest later. I didn't like the singles I heard from Lillith, so I have hopes for this. Their second album, with 'Igniter, and 'Monsters Ball' on it is just such a solid, straight forward metal record.... That one ballad is even ok.

I hung out with them on their tour bus in Pineknot Michigan. It was a blast. They are the nicest girls I’ve ever met a good time. I hung out with with them twice now once in Toledo or live in one in Clarks Michigan, I don’t known as Pineknob. I spent four hours in the pouring rain just to hang out with them on the tour bus after the concert. I’ll do it again anytime
