My friend you are right but can I ask you one thing why always to kill animal for our meal/food . Early Brahmans ate Cow meat. Beef eating by Brahmans stopped after Jain and Buddhists preached Ahimsa. The Brahmans wanted to show that they are no less to them by not eating beef. In fact, Brahmans fought against both Jains and Buddhists. Worldwide all people eat beef. It is wrong to deprive the cheap meat to poor native Indians. Hinduism has no boundaries because the Europeans tied all Indians together as Hindus whereas there was nothing called Hinduism in Southern India till 12 th century. Brahmans of Southern India started to travel to Northern India and established the way of life of the South in the North. Chandragupta Maurya spread Jainism. Asoka the last renowned king of Gupta dynasty promoted Buddhism in the South. Imagine all these happened before Christ. There is no record found to prove Hinduism was a major religion of India. A mistaken identity of Europeans jumbled all Indians as Hindus is a misnomer. There was no relation to Hinduism and not eating beef in the ancient days. It is better not to Kindle too much to be embarrassed. The recent ban by B J P government is just a stunt. India was never a vegetarian country.

Hindu texts clearly seem to allow the consumption of beef even for practising Hindus: Manusmriti (Chapter 5 / Verse 30) says, “It is not sinful to eat meat of eatable animals, for Brahma has created both the eaters and the eatables.” Maharishi Yagyavalkya says in Shatpatha Brahmana (3/1/2/21) that, “I eat beef because it is very soft and delicious (amsala).” Apastamba Grihyasutra (1/3/10) and Dharmasutra says, “The cow should be slaughtered on the arrival of a guest, on the occasion of ‘shraddha’ of ancestors and on the occasion of a marriage.” Rigveda (10/85/13) declares, “On the occasion of a girl’s marriage oxen and cows are slaughtered.” Rigveda (6/17/1) states that “Indra used to eat the meat of cow, calf, horse and buffalo.” It also mentions that Agni had a weakness for bull and cow meat. Additionally, it is recorded that the Maruts and the Asvins were also offered cows. Vashistha Dharmasutra (11/34) writes, “If a Brahmin refuses to eat the meat offered to him on the occasion of ‘shraddha’ or worship, he goes to hell.” Hinduism’s greatest propagator Swami Vivekananda said thus: “You will be surprised to know that according to ancient Hindu rites and rituals, a man cannot be a good Hindu who does not eat beef”. (The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda, vol.3, p. 536). Adi Shankaracharya’s commentary on Brihadaranyakopanishad 6/4/18 says : ‘Odan’ (rice) mixed with meat is called ‘Mansodan’. On being asked whose meat it should be, he answers ‘Uksha’. ‘Uksha’ is used for an ox, which is capable to produce semen. The book ‘The History and Culture of the Indian People’, published by Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, Bombay and edited by renowned historian R.C.Majumdar (Vol.2, page 578) says: “it is said in the Mahabharata that King Rantideva used to kill two thousand other animals in addition to two thousand cows daily in order to give their meat in charity”. Taittiriya Brahmana categorically tells us: `Verily the cow is food' (atho annam via gauh). In the therapeutic section of the Charaka Samhita (pages 86-87) the flesh of the cow is prescribed for pregnant women and as a medicine for various diseases. It is also prescribed for making soup. Susruta and Vagbhata also speak of the therapeutic uses of beef. Cattle were killed for food during the Mauryan period as is evident from the Arthasastra of Kautilya and Asoka’s own list of animals exempt from slaughter, which, significantly, does not include the cow. There are many verses in the Vedas which explain how to sacrifice the cow and which portion of the meat should be eaten by whom. The Ramayana of Valmiki makes frequent references to the killing of animals including the cow for sacrifice and for food.

Regarding of human law in Hinduism, this is what is said in Mānava-Dharmaśāstra i.e., Manusmṛti (5:31-32):- यज्ञाय जग्धिर्मांसस्येत्येष दैवो विधिः स्मृतः । अतोऽन्यथा प्रवृत्तिस्तु राक्षसो विधिरुच्यते ॥ ३१ ॥ क्रीत्वा स्वयं वाऽप्युत्पाद्य परोपकृतमेव वा । देवान् पितॄंश्चार्चयित्वा खादन् मांसं न दुष्यति ॥ ३२ ॥ The eating of meat for sacrifices’-this is declared to be the divine law; but behaviour contrary to this is described as ‘demoniacal practice’. Having bought it, or having obtained it himself, or having it presented by others,-if one eats meat after having worshipped the Gods and the Pitṛs, he does not incur sin. These animals will reach their new better bodies i.e., human body after they are used for holy sacrifices, look at this, Manusmṛti (5:39-40):- यज्ञार्थं पशवः सृष्टाः स्वयमेव स्वयम्भुवा । यज्ञोऽस्य भूत्यै सर्वस्य तस्माद् यज्ञे वधोऽवधः ॥ ३९ ॥ ओषध्यः पशवो वृक्षास्तिर्यञ्चः पक्षिणस्तथा । यज्ञार्थं निधनं प्राप्ताः प्राप्नुवन्त्युत्सृतीः पुनः ॥ ४० ॥ Animals have been created by the Self-born God himself for the purpose of sacrifice: sacrifice is conducive to the well-being of all this would; hence killing at a sacrifice is no ‘killing’ at all. Herbs, animals, trees, beasts and birds, reaching death for the sake of sacrifices, attain advancements. So you have to know what it means to not do violence in Darmaśāstras, and you have to know if our God is not a vampire but a loving God. Manusmṛti (5:44):- या वेदविहिता हिंसा नियताऽस्मिंश्चराचरे । अहिंसामेव तां विद्याद् वेदाद् धर्मो हि निर्बभौ ॥ ४४ ॥ That killing which is sanctioned by the Veda has been eternal in this world of mobile and immobile beings: it is to be regarded as no killing at all; since it was out of the Veda that the Law shone forth. We also already know that in Indian Shaktism, animal sacrifice has become a common sight, Durgā or Kālī is the energy of God, She is Nārāyaṇī or Viṣṇumāyā, the deity of animal sacrifices. This is confirmed in the Mahābhārata (Harivaṃśa 2:3:12) and Bhāgavata Mahāpuraṇa (10:2:10-11), when Śrīman Nārāyaṇa's order to Durgā:- अर्चिष्यन्ति मनुष्यास्त्वां सर्वकामवरेश्वरीम् । धूपोपहारबलिभि: सर्वकामवरप्रदाम् ॥ १० ॥ नामधेयानि कुर्वन्ति स्थानानि च नरा भुवि । दुर्गेति भद्रकालीति विजया वैष्णवीति च ॥ ११ ॥ कुमुदा चण्डिका कृष्णा माधवी कन्यकेति च । माया नारायणीशानी शारदेत्यम्बिकेति च ॥ १२ ॥ By sacrifices of animals, ordinary human beings will worship you gorgeously, with various paraphernalia, because you are supreme in fulfilling the material desires of everyone. In different places on the surface of the earth, people will give you different names, such as Durgā, Bhadrakālī, Vijayā, Vaiṣṇavī, Kumudā, Caṇḍikā, Kṛṣṇā, Mādhavī, Kanyakā, Māyā, Nārāyaṇī, Īśānī, Śāradā and Ambikā. So the tradition of doing sacrifice has been for thousands of years, and see the tradition of our descent is very harmonious with the commands of Vedāṅga. But the radical right wing hindus are killing and maiming other people in the name of meat eating while it is prescribed in their scriptures.
