Chinese Acrobatics is as old as time itself and they just excel at what they do. This is phenomenal. Sports Acro combined with grace and such fluidity in it's control, movement and interpretation. They have more core than a power station! Respect.Brilliant

wow, every time i see this video it's hard to breathe, lol. i just realized that there looks to be a notch in his headpiece for her pointe shoe, thank goodness! and i especially love how after all the fanciness they ended the piece with a classical pose. lovely!

I think it is fabulous and YES they CAN do it! They are incredible in their talents of balancing acts. Have you ever seen the Chinese Acrobats? They start them very young and I think that helps them overcome the fear and just do it!

i was amazed at how she wrapped herself round his body, then when she went on pointe on his shoulders like it was a walk in the park i was speechless. i could not belive my eyes when she went on his head. but it was when she started spining around that i actually knew that she is too good for words.

beautiful!!absolutely..its not about nationality or anything else...they just do theyr best...in some chinese programs there were 5 years old kids training and crying because of the stress and because they miss theyr mom,but they never stopped trying,and one day they can become like her

It's possible, especially if, like many Chinese acrobats, you've been training since you could walk. This isn't just dance, it's acrobatics. No wires or trick photography there. ^^ That up there is amazing skill...awesome!

All of the people who made idiotic comments about this video have no idea about "Interpretive Dance" or just how difficult it is to make something that hard, look that beautiful!! Her movement was so fluid and his strength is amazing. Imagine balancing 100 pounds on your outer shoulder like that, and then move around...truly amazing video!!

I'm positive that this is the same company that does the acrobatic swan lake (which by the pics is very cool). The girl's technique is quite amazing, espically for someone who was originally trained sport acrobatics (if she is who i think she is). The pirouette on his shoulder was awesome, i wish my turns were that good!! lol!

ive learned alot since the last time i commented. doing alot of hand to hand stuff myself. ive learned that its much easier to balance one top of someone then by your self cause they are balancing you. thats why alot of people can do one hands and stuff on people but not on the ground.

Most of these chinese acrobats have been training since they were 5-7 years old. You gotta remember in a country of 3.5 billions population the conpetition within the country is very high. Same with the chinese drivers and gymnast, they are sent to these crazy training schools at a very young age. U should try searching "1000 Buddha's Hands". Its not an acrobatics show like this one, but its a pretty good show too.

@pleeai the stand is there so that she can actually "stand" on his head since a human skull is not flat and without it, it wouldve been impossible 2 balance on his head at all. but even with that tiny stand, if she looses her balance, it wont keep her from falling

this is an acrobatic show which combines ballet and a really old chinese acrobatic skill(we call it "duan yan"- a girl stands on the should of a man). To those who made really bad comments on this show or have acid tougues: do u know how hard these two performers have practised? how many times the girl fell over?how many times the guy's shoulders were covered with new scars when the old ones were not really healed over?
