The Malt O Meal is actually made by Post and can be bought at Walmart in a larger package. A lot of times you can get coupons for them and Ibotta rebates. Thanks for doing this.

We have six WalMart stores which is absolutely crazy. We haven't ever experienced any being stale but if I did I think I would take it back. It is strange how the same chain can have lower quality things. I have experienced it from the different stores in my city and sometimes one will carry something that another one 2 miles away won't.

Love ur videos. Found a shopping list pad that says 'But first, coffee' at Dollar General clearance & thought of u. 3 thoughts on taste tests. 1. Pregnant taste buds are different than non pregnant taste buds (lol) maybe you can repeat test after the baby is born😊 The malt o meal cereal is not a DT brand, but a very fair comparison. 2. Maybe u can compare Aldi brands to their competitor...I think you will be pleasantly surprised. 3. Did the baby do a dance after all that unprocessed (but sorta yummy) food? Frosted Cherry pop tarts! I have never had an off-brand "pop tart" that was anywhere as good as a real PT. Although PT keeps released limited edition flavors that all look pretty darn awful (jolly rancher flavor, etc).

I don't eat pop tarts now since I'm vegan but mixed berry is by far the best flavor. Also looking at all the ingredients of those bars the chewy name brand still had corn syrup so they both contained it but at least the dollar tree ones were honest and had it listed first instead of just hidden in the middle of seemingly "better" ingredients 😂

Smores pop tarts are the best! My husband wanted to try dollar tree steaks and chicken just to see if it was awful and surprisingly enough, they were not bad. Of course he knows how to season them and cook. He made steak sandwiches and we used the chicken in a salad. Lol And Malt o Meal cereal is so good! We get smores flavor. I love smores!

Jif is one of the few brand products I absolutely must have. Also, Heinz ketchup and Dawn detergent. Hellman’s mayo too, although i don’t mind Stop and Shop. Otherwise, I’m pretty flexible. My husband also preferred budget brand Cinnamon Toast Crunch. His preference is for whatever Save-a-Lot grocery is. But mostly I gotta have Jif peanut butter. We have Skippy right now and it’s lasted forever because my husband uses Trader Joe’s natural peanut butter and Skippy is just “meh”. I eat it when I just need a peanut butter sandwich. I’ve had off-brand Wheat Thins and the taste is kind of like a dog biscuit. I’m not a big fan of Wheat Thins either but they at least taste like a cracker. The best pickles are Mt.Olive.

The Dollar Tree cereal is Malt O Meal brand. It's been around for a very long time & is sold in supermarkets everywhere. All these name brand items can be bought very inexpensively if you shop sales &/or use coupons. In fact there are 2 different supermarket chain this week where I live that have name brand cereal on sale for under $2.00 a box.

I actually really like the brown cinnamon sugar pop tarts but I only eat them toasted. Pop them in the toaster and they’re sooooo much more delicious. My top 2 favorites are the hot fudge sundae flavor (toasted it becomes gooey goodness but frozen is good too) and s’mores (again, toasted is ooey gooey goodness).
