I came across your blog last night. It was really good. I don't know were to start....first the arched door leading into the room just makes me want to come in , plus the picture of what is inside is charming. You 2 have a wonderful way of making an idea come to life. I love everything! but I wanted to add that the sink faucets side way is no big deal. Remember the way they sat when you had to pump it and the water came out in the sink? It is the same idea only yours is new and pretty. So no more saying why is is different. Just go back and look up the way the first spout was sitting. You had the imagination for the rock wall. Well I give both of you an A+. Enjoy! Joyce

Love this -we are getting ready to move into our new home and I think that the pantry is going to be my favorite room…I , too, almost put in the rolling ladder but changed my mind due to space it would take up ( and expense). We are putting in a sink and under counter refrigerator…with the thought of putting coffee station in there to save space in actual kitchen… Question…do you actually leave apples out on counter…I find that they get grainy that way . Great pantry…thanks for sharing

We did work so hard, and it feels incredible to finally be done with the interior (even though I can't help myself and am already planning some minor changes. Ha!). Our pantry is 16 feet by 6 feet. Real long and narrow, but it works perfectly! Ideally, I would have made it a bit wider then we could have fit an extra fridge in - which we need pretty bad. But it ended up in the mudroom because it just stuck out too much in the pantry. I don't think I could convince him to do a tutorial on the cabinets! He feels so unsure of how he builds those, I just can't convince him. They aren't perfect - but they are good enough for me! And yes, the big cabinet is a dusty green color and the shelves an oatmeal. Paint colors are listed in my description. Thanks again!

Oh Cami!!!! Your butler's pantry is not only beautiful, but functional as well. I have a question. Do you store your flour in the pantry, or do you store the flour in the fridge? I would love to see some ideas on canning certain recipes. I'm not sure if I've seen that on the blog, of course I was probably distracted by all the linen things... ;) Hugs Friend!!!!!

Hey Rosa!!! Always good to hear from you! Good questions! We store ours in the pantry. Most of our flour is wheat berries and then I grind them fresh when ready to bake. That way they store much much longer! For the ground flours, rice, etc. we buy, I just only buy a 5 gallon bucket worth at a time because they go rancid faster. But we go through that much before it does. I'll have to convince Mr. TIDBITS to do some canning videos this fall! He is actually super into that! So no - you didn't miss anything yet. Just stay focused on that linen. Haha! Hope you are doing so well!
