Hi Martin and Sharon. I just wanted to tell you how grateful I am to you both for all your cooking tips. I am a 75yr old, always cooked old fashion way in the oven but we are now living in Australia and at 35 deg at the moment I’m loving my air fryer. That is all thanks to you Sharon and Martin. Keep those recipes coming. P.S. just cooked cauliflower cheese in Air fryer. Xx

Being in the Market Garden Industry all veg that are layered like lettuce, cabbage, leek should be thoroughly washed, as your not only dealing with soil and pollutants - you have other nasty stuff like fertilizer and insects basically trapped in the growth cycle between the layers as it forms. Another thing to watch for is pre-washed bag of basil, lettuce mix etc as they really only get washed through a continuous trough like water system and recycled also- which is not clean and harbours a lot of bacteria and really not any different than a sheep dipping station so clean all vegetables even if its pre-washed if you want to stay healthy. Cooking Tip: if your measuring temps and you fall short 3-5 Degrees... its fine, because its still cooking when resting.

Youngsters are just lazy. It's not hard to teach yourself how to cook. It might not be to other peoples' taste but you will soon learn how to cook stuff that YOU like. I only started to learn when I left my Parents' home and Mum was not there to cook for me anymore. You soon learn when you're hungry.

What a great bit of cooking here. As veggies we replaced the bacon with quorn pieces and this one really is a blinder. No high faluting pompus rubbish, good honest good value food from Lidl it is nice to see others who appreciate the great quality at a great price. Sounds like it will be even better when we get our air fryer delivered. We wish the cooking shows on the TV could take a leaf out of your book doing everything in leymans terms with plain common sense. Cheers and love to you both from Trev the Pianoman & his missus Jane.

Hello, did you know when cooking pasta if you add pasta to boiling water, place the lid on the pan, bring water back to a boil then turn the gas off and leave the pasta in the pan in the hot water for 9mins the pasta cooks. Saves your fuel! Please can you explain how using the small camping stove saves energy as opposed to using the hob burner… doesn’t a pan of water take the same amount of fuel to boil the water whether it’s on the hob or on a camping stove… I don’t understand how the camping stove boils the same volume of water quicker. Thanks
@kevinmatthews2620
@kevinmatthews2620 Жыл бұрын
the reason the other ones proably last longer is the gas was proably cleaned better eg more water removed,before being filled into the cannisters, if you clean 10% less you have 10% more canisters to fill and hence 10% more profit :) :), your poor dog looking for scraps makes me smile ,my dog would proably be the same :) :) :)

@@butlersempire thanks for your reply however I do not use pressurised deodorant as they affect my breathing ( I have COPD), I use the push stick ones. I'm unable to be around anything like deodorant or fresh air sprays and suchlike as it makes it hard for me to breathe and I need to use my inhalers then. I also take my inhalers everywhere with me because you just never know when you'll need them. That was why I asked about the gas containers, not because I'm thick or stupid but because I genuinely didn't know as like I said I don't have anything like that around me.
