Robin was much better than the second one, I went to bognor butlins until 2012. Burger King had gone then glad it is back ❤

Butlins Bognor was THE family holiday for me growing up! We went every year from when I was six until seventeen, with the only break being because of covid. Great to see how familiar things still are, as well as how fascinating the new stuff is!

@@ThemeParksAndAttractions I miss the Aquasplash & walking past the Plaza after the evening shows & disco, plus the outdoor pool, boating lake, children's theatre, table tennis & snooker halls & other activities such as trampolining & archery which was all included in the price!

I’ve been here every single year and continue to do so, I’m actually going next week on Monday for work experience to do with backstage stuff. But over the years I never found out what the tunes that used to play around the resort through the speakers were, I don’t think they play them anymore and it’s a shame I never found them.

Which butlins has the best pool area that includes areas and rides for adults or older kids haven't been for many as last time I went the pool area was very small and disappointing, would welcome any feedback..thanks

Perhaps do also a walk around Bo gnor Regis and check out the amusements there too! Lovely beach and a train that takes you down the promenade! How about seeing you doing a sing along through the Butlins resorts? When my wife worked there years ago she got the campers singing the world cup song while they were getting their breakfast! People.in the holiday camps will join in with you On your video if you explain you are doing a video for your you tube channel! They are big time into their holiday plus very relaxed Great way to get more people to view your channel and even possibly more subscribers! Also ever thought of working a short time in one of their camps? Gives you the opportunity to record workers and holiday makers alike and you will get given a tour you would otherwise not receive Something to consider! You could open your video to show what it is like working at butlins! Fun after work! ETC... Just something to consider! Go there mate!👍

@davidjohn-no1nx wow that's a long message - the beach is nice to walk around, and if I did work at Butlin's, it would definitely boost the channel, and they provide free accommodation if you work there haha I am happy in what I am doing, though, but I will visit again when play expo opens later in the year

went there in 70s 80 s 90s and 6 years ago not as good not so much adult entertainment at night as once was and fair used to b full of day visitors pushing in

It's still great value in today's prices for what you get, but I agree with the funfair comment it should be longer, but that's because unfortunately they want you to do the upcharge Attractions late afternoon and into the evening that's where they make a lot of there money

Oh really, I'm surprised about that - I have a Wave Hotel vlog way down the list from a while back, but there will be a Ocean Hotel full tour vlog on the way in the next couple of weeks so make sure you check it out - decent accommodation in my opinion 💯👌

We are going back for the 3rd time in 4 years. But i am hearing loads of horror stories atm. Including reduced openings of pool and fairground and also cleanliness.

Butlin's always offer great value - but you are correct - lately, there have been reduced hours of the swimming pool - and not only that the rapids which is my favourite by far at the park is closed a lot of the time on quieter periods I have been to the swimming pool at least 10 times in the last 12 months, and I would say 5 or 6 of those. Unfortunately, the rapids have been closed, I have asked the staff inside as to why - and the answer is maintenance and also a lack of staff. As for the fairground , it has been closing at 4 pm lately off peak during the week - some of those rides have also had downtime with repairs taking place The cleanliness - I always find it is hit and miss with Butlins. You get what you pay for If you stay in either the Ocean Hotel, for instance, or the Wave - they are both very clean inside the rooms I have never had a problem with either rooms of those and there is a vlog from the Ocean Hotel showing that in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned for that 👌

We are going mid July. My daughters favorite slide is obviously the rapids. Isn't there a big outbreak of sickness at the moment? We've been last 2 years and loved it(even with the negative comments) We are in the Seaside apartments and have never stayed in them before. As for fairground closing at 4pm it's ridiculous IMHO. Same with the pool.

Mid July, you would hope the rapids will be fully operational - but you can't say for sure they are down a lot unfortunately - you wouldn't get that at Centre Parcs - but a massive difference in price unfortunately - you get the night entertainment at Butlins for a start that you don't get there so it's 1 of those As for the seaside apartments, I couldn't say as I haven't stayed in those for several years - I didn't see anyone sick myself, but I'm sure it does happen as with a lot of places 😀

Well you would hope so. They've never been out of order in the 2 times I've been(accept 1st hour last year ) on 1st day. You'd think the amount of money they make it wouldn't be an issue like it isn't as Centre Parks. We won Bingo Bango last year. Hopefully we will again this year lol. We really enjoyed ABBA last year. It's been on news about sickness bug going through Butlins Bognor.

ABBA is always great at Butlins - I enjoyed the Coldplay the most this time around I haven't heard or looked about the food problems since I visited so I must have got lucky

Actually preferred the paratrooper ride they had from 82 to 2018! Could see some amazing views when that got up high of Butlins and Bognor.
