Nothing remains of the Butlins I remember as a kid. Well maybe the carousel and the helter-skelter, and perhaps that big clown face. Everything seems to be pushed together under those giant canopies now. They even filled in the boating lake :(

We stayed here last week and for an amazing price of 60 quid we thoroughly ebjoued ourselves.the red coats were friendly and our son has autism and very anxious in new places.butthey found a way to make the time to engage with him which was so caring.

I went to Butlins for a week and it was nearly Christmas so there was lots of fun Christmas stuff to do. The best thing was being VIP so I didn’t have to wait in lines 😁

It makes me sad to see butlins now a days. When I used to go as a kid and when my children were young, everything was free. All the rides and go karts. All I can see now is a lot of money spending opportunities. I think the only free activity now is the funfair. I know you have to pay to go to the cinema. I saw a driving school where it was £4 per car. Butlins used to be fun. I think if I was to go back with my grandchildren I would be bankrupt by the end of the first day.

Did you know for the Old Splash Waterworld Opened in 1987 and it Closed 2019 after the New one has Been Opened after it's 20 years of Revamped the Waterworld with "Family Entertainment Resorts" since 1999 that it links to the Skyline Pavilion for Bognor (1999-2019)

I remember the old swimming pool that was there before 'splash waterworld' The deep end had windows that looked into the Regency Ballroom, so the people in the ballroom could see the people swimming underwater through the glass. It’s a kip , chalets are nice and clean but the swimming pool was atrocious, changing rooms smell like rotten stale urine , a lot has changed in year

I love the people in the comments that don’t live here and that have never even been here go “ooo it looks so nice it’s lovely” it makes me laugh lol people don’t realise the crime is pretty high here especially for a small sea side town and people don’t actually realise as well how much of a shit hole it actually is 😂 Lots of the places this guy has walked through or past if he walked there on a sunny day and a different time of day this video would be completely different 😂
