Used to go there all the time, as a kid. I remember the racehorse ball game, the dragon rollercoaster, the Western show, the wizz kids, octopus ride, the pools; honestly, some of the best childhood memories.

Oh wow I remember that too - could hear the song from it all the way back at our caravan 😅 used to love the swimming pool too with the rapids that pushed you along - good times!

@tezzadezza9174 I can still hear that music as well 😆 Never knew what the lyrics were, but I still know the tune. And yes, I also loved the rapids. And watching the wizz kids on stage with all the kids, whilst all the parents went off and did their own thing. I remember that stage being next to the bowling alleys. Parents would wait for us outside once the show was finished.

Nearly gave my uncle a heart attack with joke cigarettes! Wish I had a time machine 😁

Loved it there as a kid in the 90s. Went every year for a while. Everything was included then. Butlins today (I returned to Minehead for first time since then, in 2019) are edging more towards a Haven, where you have to be extra for things. The cable cars and monorail are proper nostalgic. Great times

I was there that summer, quasar competion, casper at the cinema and sneaking into Bonkers nightclub most nights, oasis and blur fighting for No1 greatest days 🙏❤️

I went there in 1990 with my family , loved the outdoor pool, was heated, got chatting to a nice worker called wayne

@@perky26hughes What was the name of the nightclub there during this time, I thought it was something like Hurricane or Hurricane Harry's or something? I don't remember much about it but it had like a small stream/brook or stretch of water along the edge of it when you walked in?
