Yeah, I've seen it's new blue backflash, and it's called "The Wave". And in my opinion, the new backflash just looks horrible; it doesn't even look like a proper Miami anymore (and you can see the counterweights sticking out at the back). If I were the managing director of the Butlins resort at Skegness, I would've immediately ordered the Miami Wave's backflash redone, and the ride refurbished.

The Skegness Fairground at Butlin's has gone downhill in my opinion, though it has improved a bit with the Twister this year......

As of August 2018 butlins has removed this ride.

Theme Park Media no they have got rid of it now but it’s still on website so might be returning hopefully

@@littlenimmo1862 No it's gone completely now. Butlins have replaced it with the chair swing ride and moved the Motion Simulator to where the Miami Wave once stood.
