Some of my best childhood holidays were at Butlins Filey. It's so sad that it's all gone.

Had a great week at butlins filey in June 1966, loved everything about it ,so sad when it was demolished, haunting music 🎶, York House, a redcoat who always signed off ,saying ta Tara ta brilliant ghostly ending ,whooooooooooooo 😀 💙 😢

Great memories. There's a handful of photos that are not of the Filey camp in here. If you knew Filey, you'll spot these.

Anyone happen to know a bloke called Eddie who worked in the kitchens, caterer in 1975, he only had the 1 season there in 1975, i dont know his last name unfortunately, my wife's friend is trying to locate him as uts her biological dad, she was 15 months when he left
