Butlins FILEY HOLIDAY CAMP station disused. PLATFORMS demolished (2022)

Hello i remember exploring this station about 7 years ago with my dad when we went on holiday to primrose valley and we were told to get off the farmers land by the farmer because we were trespassing and then about 5 minutes later the farmers wife told us to get off and now it looks like the heartless farmer has destroyed the last remaining bits of history of this once great camp thanks for sharing this piece of history

Yes, I remember posting this video on Facebook and the farmer told me that I had no right filming, as this was private land. Unfortunately for him, he does not own the air space. Quite amusing. Buying old railway land should come with a warning. It will always attract historians and old train spotters. lol

Superb film . Awesome junction . At least the 'farmer' hasnt destroyed that part . I visited in 1992 and so much still remained . Very sad to see the platforms bulldozed . 😮

Many thanks Andrew. As far as I know, the farm property only goes up to the road. Shame the platforms got demolished. I think the farmer was fed up of historians going on to the property.
