I'm in good shape overall yet my hips and thighs are areas that I need help targeting. I do yoga, bike ride, go rock climbing and still have yet to see tone in my butt/hips/thighs the way I want to. I'm excited to add these workouts in my routine and see the transformation. I definitely felt muscles working in ways I haven't before, so I know that with consistency SOMETHING good will happen. Thanks for this awesome workout Katie! Really enjoyed it. I found it really difficult to do the first movement though, my leg just couldnt lift that high sideways, like it barely left the mat... do you think this is a flexibility or strength issue? Any suggestions on how I might be able to lift it higher??

It's probably a little bit of both. You can do side lunges to help strengthen those side muscles and stretches for flexibility.

Thank you for that awesome work out. In your 4 week challenge could you please make sure it doesn't involve the knees. Constantly on the lookout for workout for the belly thighs and butts that does not involve the knees.

Yoga has helped a lot with learning to control my breath. Focus on slow inhales through your nose and exhales out of your mouth. Even when you are working super hard if you do this it will help.

Well the point of the last move really is to get the heart rate up. You can do some bicycle crunches to replace it though.

Most of my workouts are suitable for pregnancy, but not specific designed for them. Of course depending on your fitness level and stage in pregnancy there may be some limitations and it's always good to check with your dr. so you know what those might be :) xoxo

Is it better to do all the exercises first for one leg and then do them for the other leg? Or do one exercise for one leg , the same for the other leg and continue on like that? Also, I loved this video :)
