Buttercream Painted Cake

Hey Everyone!
In todays tutorial I show you how to paint scenery with buttercream!
For this tutorial I'm using a 10" cake that was frosted in Swiss Meringue
Buttercream.
For coloring I used gel food colors...

That's absolutely a beautiful cake! I had a thought come to mind about putting art onto a cake and had a picture come to mind but didn't know how to do it. I had one way in mind to try, and then I saw this where the icing actually works like paint, with it's creaminess. I think I'll give it a try to see which way will work best to see my art on a cake. Thank you so very much for the inspiration. This is beautiful! The water looks amazing! The rest looks like impressionism art, like Claude Monet art.
