It made me sad to see that Theseus became so calm when C!Wilbur showed up and was mean and manipulative to Tommy. Seeing C!Techno and C!Philza being so nice to Tommy was throwing him for a loop and causing a mental crisis but seeing a mean Wilbur he was like 'Ah something familiar, I know how to act around THIS person' and it makes me even sadder knowing that this is train of thought is how a traumatised child sees the world, only feeling comfortable when they know how they can approach a familiar situation, so they stay in terrible conditions because they've trained themselves on how to survive and thrive there. To us, unknown territory is the biggest enemy and being treated well is a HUGE change to the norm
