Another nice review - thanks. I have some suggestions for videos you could make: 1) Can you loop with balsa. This is a common subject of debate eg TTD Forum. Can you settle this once and for all by reviewing a popular balsa blade eg BTY Balsa Carbo X5? 2) Heavy vs light blade. Could you review 2 versions of same blade, eg Boll ALC, 1 heavy, 1 light with same rubbers on each and describe the difference. 3) Blade vs rubber, which makes the most difference. Take a very fast blade with a slow or classic rubber and compare the speed and spin to an allround blade with a super fast rubber. I am sure a lot of people would be interested in this. Does anyone agree?
@conscribe8382 жыл бұрын
I agree with 3

@ttd Hi guys. Im looking to get a new blade. currently im playing the Timo Boll ALC with Tenergy 05 Fx on both sides. The problem for me is, that the blade sometimes feels to carbony and in the moment of impact your control lacks a little (compared to blades with a more wooden feel). In this regards im interessted in all kinds of blades with a wooden feel or with more control and stability. My first bet on on the Harimoto ALC. But this one sounds interessting too. So guys, what are your thoughts of the Revoldia in comparison with the Harimoto ALC? Or do you even have the chart where i can see these two blades compared by stats? Thanks for any kind of answer!
@alekssbelskis35442 жыл бұрын
I think you might like some of the Butterfly innerforce ALC blades as the carbon is closer to the centre which should help a lot with control and feeling which you claim to be an issue. Sticking with the Timo Boll blade series why not try the Butterfly Timo Boll innerforce ALC.

@@alekssbelskis3544 its a fucking rocket! With beginner level players, i always heard 'buy faster blades, buy faster rubbers' etc. etc. And in the beginning i did. I started with a blade of 85 speed, then switched to 'maze magic' with 92 speed. Then i jumped to timo boll with like 120 speed, and now harimoto. But at this point i realise, i need a slower racket to be able to learn topspin better. With a blade of this tempo i have rarely any time to find the right impact point of the ball to even to topspin. Kind of funny how things evole :D
@alekssbelskis35442 жыл бұрын
@@janosch7210 Sorry I didn't realize you were a beginner. In that case my recommendation is a Petr korbel with max thickness Sriver on both sides, it's much slower than what you're used to but it has a lot of dwell time and flex to help you feel the ball on the bat more and learn good and proper strokes. If you get good coaching for a few years you'll learn very good technique as the blade won't do that much for you and then I'd recommend the Timo boll or innerforce ALC blade (depending on which you prefer when you get that far) as you'd be able to benefit from it's great speed as the technique is already there.
