Im also Asian and i'm always accommodating to people because I'm honestly scared I'll be a burden to them or something. thank you!! the biggest positive was being able to do whatever i wanted without worrying about what someone else wants to do ⸜( ´ ꒳ ` )⸝ the alone time also led to a lot of introspection, and i got to know myself a lot better ♡ i would suggest doing a small solo trip (2-4 days) first, somewhere close to home to see how you feel about it in a less stressful environment ! having to learn how to navigate public transport in a different country was very stressful 😅

Wow wow, it's hard for me to imagine a solo trip for more than one day. I travel with my partner and from time to time we encounter challenges and obstacles and help each other cope, be it a mistake on the route, theft, loss, long hours of driving, etc. Sometimes they are also stressed or frustrated and need someone reliable to vent their feelings on. Plus, experiencing so many beautiful places, who will you share it with? If I were traveling alone, without the complete knowledge that someone would be there by my side, I would fall apart.

it's great you've found someone you are able to rely on, they sound like a great travel partner! for me personally, i believe that nurturing my relationship with myself is just as important as nurturing my relationship with my partner (´꒳`)♡ i also traveled internationally for the first time with my partner earlier this year, and i am grateful we could share that experience together! this recent solo trip was for myself though, and although it was much more difficult handling everything on my own, i found the experience to be just as enjoyable and really valued the introspection and lessons i learned about myself from it!

About the way make up looks like in real life i agree those videos are so wrong. I have a textured skin from acne and acne scars and I'm not very good at make up, but the way my skin make up looks depends on how I prepped my skin and the quality. Like when I do my skicare and hydrate then apply my make up in a nice way my skin looks so good versus when I just apply a cheap foundation over a dry skin 😅

Lol yea I get the whole real makeup thing. It’s annoying. Everyone has literally been on each end. We have bad days and good days. But let me just say, technique ok. You have to know what you’re using, and how to use it. Not everyone goes out looking like a crusty clown 😂. Literally my sister has acne and she can make her face look flawless with bb cream 😂

Love your videos! One suggestion - you have a gorgeous voice but your "s" sounds are very harsh through your mic/KZbin. If would be easier to watch your videos entirely if the audio was edited without those "s" peaks (editing sibilance). For example, 4:59 ("it's) was really harsh. Sounds a bit like the drill that dentists use? Maybe I'm just extra sensitive!
