Butterworks is really doing well when it comes to real-life encounters with your loved ones. Life ain't fantasy. Keep it up guys!

I find this very intriguing. It's not only the guy who is selfish, it's both of them. Relationships falls apart and quarrel happens because both people are selfish and not accommodating to each other. Thank you for the reminder :) I hope people don't think it's just the guy's fault, but also the girl's! It takes 2 hands to clap!
@nervxxx7 жыл бұрын
Yea both parties are quite selfish here, the guy for imposing what he thinks the ideal scenario is on her, and the girl for coming in with a shitty attitude without trying to understand what he has done and just demanding that they go back. Both are toxic in their approach, and it's super hypocritical when they lecture the other person on what's 'right'. Ideally the guy should have listened to how the girl is feeling and changed the plans / compromised; the girl should have tried to understand what the guy had planned and be more appreciative and willing to make a compromise too, despite being super tired (tiredness is not an excuse for being able to have your way). At the end of the day it's always about communication and compromise.

This happened to me and my ex too, planned everything out, and then in the end I was the selfish one. Sometimes I really hate some girls don't appreciate the effort you put in it. And when you don't plan anything, you are fucked too.

That just means either your approach was wrong, (usually lack of hints for the girl, I'm a guy too so I know that feeling) or she does not consider any of your plans as a plausible plan (no matter situation); for the latter case, she is not the one for you.As for not planning, well welcome to the life of a guy mostly haha. But we still love them don't we?

Awesome! We collected a sample size of 11,000 people in Singapore and their Empathy traits measure the lowest between 20 - 40 years old. Also shown in your video, how 'Power Struggle' comes into play. When love is gone, 'Power Struggle' crepes in. Each couple suffers from 'Self-Righteousness'. Great video!

Both parties are thinking about themselves. Isn't she forcing her idea of a good time on to him as well?
@poogledyblue7 жыл бұрын
ybbolb I don't think so. I don't think she is forcing. She is and already said that she is tired from work and prefers to go home and relax. It is the guy who got angry at her for not being able to make it. I think the guy could have been more reasonable and ask her if they could postpone the date to another day. It's not like it had to be that special day.
@shawnaw27 жыл бұрын
Well, if you see it the other way,he started off being polite and wanting to bring her out. However, she started off with being extremely rude and stating extreme tiredness and wanting to go her own way (home), ignoring what he has planned.It's the guy's fault for exploding from her statement, BUT its also her fault for not considering his feelings for planning SOMETHING in the first place.Granted if she was really tired to the point of breaking down physically/mentally, politely declining and requesting if he could postpone it, instead of forcing onto him the want to head home.Both are in the wrong either way.
@milOfawx7 жыл бұрын
Male lead actually planned the anniversary dinner for her and was speaking politely from the start, she comes in with some shitty attitude claiming to be tired. Then came up with the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life at the end claiming that "your vision of "perfection" is different from mine". I don't see how the guy is toxic?? *insert confused meme*
@yeeshinwoon68677 жыл бұрын

Sebestian Tan Hmm maybe we can take a look at this situation from a different perspective. Perhaps for the girl, this was something she has always kept inside, she has been trying to please him by always agreeing to go with the kind of planning he wants but it has been exhausting for her to keep up with it. She actually likes things simple, perhaps she has somewhere communicated it but he somehow goes back at it. Until at this point, it erupted. To him, he went the extra mile and she's being unappreciative, to her, she never actually appreciate all these and she felt that she was never really understood by him. He thinks this is what loving her means, to her, she's saying this is not loving to me. The solution? It's always compromise, it's always a continuous giving in that spurs on more giving and eventually they would find themselves in a matured relationship has formed middle grounds that both can either accept or be genuinely happy with..
@milOfawx7 жыл бұрын
In that case, your scenario would've made her response to his efforts a little more adequate. I gave my opinion in contrast to the situation in the skit hence I felt that it is unfair for the male lead ahaha.

Male actor should’ve known by now that she likes it simple since they have been together for a while now and he believe a lot in fantasy whereas the female actor doesn’t know how to appreciate and want things to go her way

@zephyrakira91375 жыл бұрын
Hmm I know the girl was so tired, but why didn't she just say sorry after hearing what her boyfriend had done? I mean, yeah, maybe that was not her definition of anniv celebration, but by saying it (what she said on the video), I think she didn't respect him at all. If I were her, I would definitely ask for apology. Dont judge me guys ...
@Cikyaniehazel7 жыл бұрын
plot twist, she has something up at home in her way to celeb the anniversary. both want to go their own way and see their way is the most perfect method to celeb an anniversary. so both are selfish. seeing most people blame the girl just because she is tired and showed uneasy reaction to your eyes, does anyone see how was the guy disrespecting the girl by not considering her tiredness and get pissed off immediately even before the girl know what he is up to. If the girl had known it earlier and still wanna go home, she deserved that treatment. But she doesnt know, and most of you here saying she is not the right one for that. That is very unfair.

The guy shouldn't raise his voice at the girl and answer her questions so sarcastically. Perhaps the girl is really tired or stressed out at work and just want to chill out at his place for a change instead of going to a high class restaurant and being all formal? Maybe she just want to snuggle with him on the couch in front of the tv and eat pizza? It may seem like a 'cheapo' way to celebrate an anniversary but ain't each other's company the most important thing in a relationship? A celebration doesn't have to be so grand, it is the thought that counts. He shouldn't have lost his temper at the girl and instead ask her nicely about her day at work.
