interesting choice of bass configuration - image on 1:37 suggests you went for a Paolo Soprani type configuration with two Cs on the push, right? Any particular reason for that over Nolan, Comiskey or Burke? Thanks!

Yes, it's a standard Paolo configuration. It's been a while since I made the conversion, but nowadays, I play either the McComiskey or Paolo Layout. I find playing in B-keys (C, F, Bb, Gmin...) is much nicer with the Paolo Layout. The push-D is kinda in the way for those keys. For playing standard session keys, I prefer the McComiskey layout.
