Leggett is one of the first to use video marketing and are the overall leader in this industry for creating excellent content. I watch a lot of others and you would be amazed at how poorly done they are. I think you could have used a nicer way to bring your attention to the issue.

Arretez de mettre en avant des propriétés à vendre en ne parlant que de gîtes, de locations de vacances, de chambres d'hôtes... la Dordogne ne vit pas que du tourisme et pour le tourisme. C'est une région où une population habite en permanence et où de nouveaux arrivants doivent s'installer pour y vivre en permanence, des familles. Pas que des vacances !!!

C’est vrai, et d’ailleurs moi même ainsi que les très nombreux salariés de Leggett, au siège social, nous vivons ici à l’année. On a des enfants scolarisés ici, on consomme ici et on adore la région et son patrimoine. C’est d’abord notre amour de la dordogne, de son héritage culturel, et des gens qui l’habite qui nous touche. Mon expérience propre, puisque j’ai moi même des chambres d’hôtes, c est qu’au contraire de ce que vous avancez, les personnes qui viennent chez moi font vivre les commerces locaux : boulanger, cave à vin, boucherie, restaurants, location de canoë et j’en passe. Beaucoup d’emplois dépendent de ce tourisme qu’il est un peu facile de dénoncer quand ça arrange, mais pas quand il s’agit d’en toucher les bénéfices. 3 millions de visiteurs passent dans le département chaque année, ça n’est pas négligeable. Et cette maison est à 5mn de l’aéroport de Bergerac dont l’activité est intimement liée à ce tourisme. La beauté est qu’il ne s’agit pas d’un tourisme de masse comme on peut le voir à Barcelone, mais qualitatif. Et que seraient ces immenses bâtisses sans justement la passion, l’argent de personnes externes, tombées amoureuses des belles pierres ? Moi même, je suis arrivé de Nice en 2006, et j’avais acheté ma première maison pour les vacances, et finalement, depuis, j’ai décidé d’y vivre à temps plein. Les maisons que j’ai successivement occupées étaient des ruines. Je leur ai redonné vie, et la encore, les emplois des Leroy Merlin, Bricomarche ou tout faire matériaux, des artisans, dépendent de gens comme moi. Depuis j’ai eu un fils, j’en suis à ma 4e maison, les précédentes sont occupées par des familles avec enfants, et viennent remplir les salles de classes des petits villages où j’ai choisi de rénover. Alors franchement, c’est moins simple qu’il peut vous sembler. Sans tourisme, bon nombre de villages seraient morts, de commerces ne tourneraient pas. Merci. Cyril - photographe
