Buy PS5 Now... or Wait for PS5 Pro? (in 2024)

It's a matter of attitude. I appreciate every console and the PC too. The handhelds are better than ever. You have access to huge game libraries. Emulation is better than ever. I'm very happy to have access to different devices. That's not a given. Even if someone "only" has a PS4 Slim or something older, you can still have a lot of fun with it. That's exactly what it should be about.

Got a PS5 Slim brand new just to play FFVII Rebirth (and GTA VI eventually) and it's been a great experience so far, even if the price was lowered to make room for a PS5 Pro I don’t think I would regret it, I have a PC for the big beefy games and thanks to the Switch having awesome exclusive games I got used to not always having the best visuals or framerates, just enjoying some good old gameplay

Thxs buddy... wqs planning to wait for PS5 Pro...but what you said was very important ...The Pro all it really brings is more horsepower...which nis nice, but for me I don'y think I really need that extar horsepower and obviously it will cost more expensive and have to wait until Christmas to buy it... the hell with it....going to buy it right now the Ps5 Slim...

I just bought a ps4 pro and it worked well so far. If you're just a casual player who interests in ps exclusive games, just buy yourself a ps4 or ps5. The ps5 it's alr so powerful as it is. If you want to play next gen games with stable/high fps but your're on a budget then just buy a xbox series S.

PS5 has way more games but if you’re someone that wants to just play popular games like COD or racing games like need for speed then just buy Xbox but PS5 is definitely a way better option. I play PC tho.

Surely the PS5 Pro being so much more powerful will have greater longevity. Im thinking I'd continue using it way beyond PS6 release date and it would still be capable in comparison.

I’m waiting for the Pro If they drop the price of basic PS5 by 200$ I’d consider tho Haven’t been in a rush still enjoying my back catalog/base PS4 and my PS4 Pro with PSVR

I got my slim digital spider man 2 bundle for $400 at Best Buy for sale in march and it nice it’s not my first ps5 I used to have ps1 until now and I used to own PS4 for 10 years 😂 and I still love Xbox series S for 4 years and Nintendo switch lite for 5 years

@@MooMooTheWolf deals brother, I found it on marketplace FB right timing but I been on the hunt like everyone for a long time man, gotta search and be vigilant almost 24/7🤣 .... Remember Amazon had a sale for a day for $340 then they sold out quick then it went to $400 now back up to $450. I know many resellers online wanted to go as low as $390 but didn't budge more and when I asked but there's a guy who has many and even dropped the disc to $350 without games. I personally wanted digital and that's what I got, I already bought a 4k blu ray player from Sony too a mid range one and I love it so don't need it for the games since my PS4 library is digital, I only went digital last gen and I'm not stopping since most games drop digitally cheap but you find good deals online too for the discs from sellers. Keep looking, I was surprised but very happy because I know the rumored PS5 pro is not gonna be cheap if it comes out, it's gonna be like $550-600 watch.

Today a Taiwan chip manufacturer made an announcement for their 3rd quarter of the year , business quarters isnt the same as calander quarters , 3rd quarter is end of the year /Black Friday/ Christmas time , they said they expect alot of sales in 3rd quarter thanks to new ps5 model, it pretty much confirms it not only that but massive rumors from reliable sources, you can disregard rumors but now there is real evidence ps5 pro is real and coming 2024
