What is your view on advantage of some of these funds as on an average they still under perform many leading index funds. The ones the do perform well do so above 20-40%+ range but very few are in that category. A lot of partner positions are much older than that. Some traditional firms is more like 45-50+. Also the model of MBA is a little old. With more specialised leading Masters degrees they can enter into senior associate or VP.

If you do an MBA online at a big school youve just been scammed, 75% of the value is networking the other 25% is the school you go to. None of the benefit is in what you learn.

Seeing those numbers - wow, that's a lot of dough.... ....which you kind of were going to end up going back into but then didn't. There's definitely a balance between happiness and money, but knowing what you know now, if you went back to 2020 when you were applying for jobs/applying for your MBA in order to get a job (most likely in VC), would you still choose the path you've chosen? You'd have financial stability in one, but that entrepreneurial element would still be knawing at you, while in the one you're in now, you're in a lot more debt, it's less stable, but more satisfying. And do you ever think what if?

Warren has mastered what patience looks like. He has stuck to the markets, having a long term view on the markets. This is what I'm struggling to do, trying to learn how to not react to market news about inflation and all. I have currently set aside about $253k to put in the market now that prices are down. Any ideas?......

It takes some gut to really remain in the market despite downturns and all. So just find quality stocks that have long term potential, and ride with those stocks. I have found it takes someone who is very familiar with the market to make such good picks.

That was a smart move since my portfolio has grown at a tremendous pace. I can't say that for my IRA, which has just been trudging along. I even had to roll most of it over to Brian's strategies. @phucle20762 жыл бұрын
No, top bracket is 4-40.
@accountsequity5587 Жыл бұрын
No. This is more of an average. For example, the biggest PE funds will pay $150,000 base salary for junior associates and bonus will be 125%-175% of their base salary. So TC will be $335,000-$415,000. This is because the biggest PE funds have more money to give around. If you work at a much smaller firm then your total compensation will be like $265,000-325,000.
