Such heartbreak. I thankfully have a lot of these physical, a bunch I got on sale on eshop over the last year but there is a few I'll sadly miss out on, as well as all that beautiful precious dlc. So so sad. How evil and cruel they are to us who would happily give them money still. Those evil bastards.

To anyone that sees this before the shop closes, BUY DRAGON QUEST 7(VII)! It's a very lengthy JRPG, but it definitely has the most bang for its buck. I haven't touched a lot of the stuff on there, but being on the final dungeon I have almost 100 hours into my first playthrough. The story very slowly comes together, but the world is more connected than anything I have ever experienced. The characters are great and just about every mini-story is memorable. An odyssey is exactly what this game gives you. It's phenomenal and needs more praise

CODE NAME S.T.E.A.M. had a bunch of negative reviews citing extremely slow turn speeds. These were addressed in a patch and the game now features a Fast Forward button. The game still isn't as snappy as a 3DS Fire Emblem game, but it is definitely playable and enjoyable!

I love the 3ds but i feel that it’s game library of games is very small and everyone seems to own or want to own the same games where as the Switch’s game library is way too large and is like a black void. 🤕 🤷🏽‍♂️

With 3DS & Wii U eshops shutting down for good, hopefully for the rest of games stuck on Wii U & 3DS, soon they’ll be ported on Switch with DLC included aswell of dual languages between English or Japanese.

i don't think the Etrian series will get cheaper once the switch trilogy comes out. 3ds has that unique feature. UNLESS they make the future Switch have that feature with the dual screen fold (like the samsung fold) , only then would I think the 3ds release would get cheaper.

And the trilogy is old ds-games remake (so 2d monsters, and etc), so 3ds 4,5, Nexus and Untold 1,2 still very unique experience

4:57 why recommend etrian odyssey when play-asia has an English physical trilogy on switch for $70 in a few months, $10 less than their eshop. I wouldnt overpay if they don't bother making a sale (dragon quest 8 mobile has an android remaster hack which salvages a ton to buy on Christmas sale over $40 3ds when that game plays preferred builds anyway like toxic dagger Jessica to kill Dhoulmagus/grim reaper yangus to instakill metal slime let alone courage omniheal hero).
