I find any smaller Japanese company releases tend to be lower print runs, and always seem to blow up, NIS being one example.

I miss the times when people bought games because they liked them and wanted to play them. Now they are buying them because the price might increase in the future..... sad, really sad!

The idea is to buy them because you are interested to avoid paying scalper prices in the future. I definitely wouldn't advise someone to buy every game I talk about on here. It's more just saying, if this looks good to you, pick it up now because in the future it might cost too much.

Blame the publishers that just can’t/won’t do more print runs of their games. I’ve noticed that it’s mostly Japanese publishers that just limit the print runs of their games the most. I’ve had my eyes on some games that I wanted to buy on much later dates only to find out only a year later, it’s out of stock in my local game stores. **cough** **cough** Atlus **cough** **cough**

🙄U must b a scalper in disguise smh. I just bought Persona 4 for Switch from Ebay for $160.00. (like an idiot) but just IMAGINE how much i can resell this for in about 3-5 years or more to the late people that "just wanna enjoy" and purchase a physical copy like normal smh.Edit:(forget these damned scalpers, even though i heard nothing but crappy things about Limited Run Games and such I think its high time that I start getting ALL the rest of my games early in order to avoid all of this crap going forward. Bayonetta Origins The game is owned by Nintendo and you can tell that the game didn't sell very well even thought it came out this year which means once people realize how good it actually is it will be very expensive in the second hand market.

Actually any limited run game will get up price, they are exclusive to that page. Now also it is not like before, like on the snes if you didn’t buy a game it was imposible to play it, but this days, if you missed any physical release, you can still download the virtual version, so I will not worry that much. Also I only like collecting games I like, games I will play. But the video was interesring.

I am happy that I own Torna the Golden Country before it became rare to find. I want also buy Cadence of Hyrule at some point, but I might do it digitally, which I don't mind.

Yeah sometime a good sale on digital has me picking up games that way instead of physical just because it's easy, usually smaller titles. I got Torna physically before Xenoblade 3 was even announced and it ended up being around 80 dollars, so I definitely seeing these games increasing in price significantly, this and 2 the most, since it was an early lifecycle game and I am pretty sure it is out of print.

Yes they will 100% go up. I think down the line on switch 2 or at the very end of switch we will likely see xenoblade x coming out too. That will probably send all the other prices up even more for those wanting to get into the series. Thanks for the comment, appreciate it!

Really enjoy and appreciate your content, I also love buy now before rare switch games etc! But a lot of this list is leaning towards the obvious and also switch published titles, I think it would be great to do a list with more obscure rare switch titles because there's plenty out there.

There are so many to choose from, a few off the top of My head would be Mario Odyssey, Tears of The Kingdom and Splatoon 2&3. There is a really cheap addictive digital game called ding dong xl that I love too.. think it costs maybe $1 or something but its a fun little time, high score chasing game.

Thinking of picking up Arms again since I got rid of it a while ago and I don't know why. A few of these Asia (English) only releases like the Dragon Quest 1, 2 & 3, Chrono Cross & Ghost Trick might be good shouts. Maybe one for another video though.

I think Baten Kaitos 1+2 will be one to watch out for, I grabbed a physical copy, there was no US physical release and yet they released the English version of the game in Japan. So yeah weird release for this collection despite it being shown in Nintendo Direct earlier this year.

Yeah I was shocked, I knew the release date was coming up so I tried to pre order it, but I saw it wasn’t available at GameStop, Amazon or even Nintendos own website. So I looked up Baten Kaitos and yup, they scrapped a physical release in the US, decided just to target Japan and Europe for physical release.
