I 100% agree with you about Monsieur Big being a bit of a wet formula. Yet oh how I love that mascara! If I've used more than 1 coat I will seriously stand there with my ring fingers pressing my lashes carefully into a strong curl and within maybe 30-45 seconds I have amazing lashes with a curl that lasts all day. Don't forget to wash your hands immediately after! There nothing quite like walking out of the house at 8am thinking you're having the best makeup day ever, for someone at 2pm to ask you what's that black mark clear across your forehead.

I personally have the opposite opinion of those brow pens. I tried the UD Brow Blade first and it would fade on my skin, sometimes turning green even though the color was too warm for me. The product ran out really quickly. Had issues with the caps not staying on and drying out. Also if it rained or I got even a drop of water near my brow, the ink would puddle and run. I went through three of them before trying something else. I LOVE the Glossier Brow Flick. Much more natural color, stays on my face until the next day if I leave it, even has good staying power with water. And for me it’s so much cheaper since I never used the pencil side of the other and would have to replace so often. Will forever repurchase!

I like the Milani single stoke brow pen. I love the ash brown color, the long-wearing formula, the tip and the ability to fill in brow spots that are thin without 3 prongs that darken thicker areas of my brows. It's kinda a learning curve to flick your wrist in longer or shorter strokes, but when you get it, it's a great product. AND it's not expensive.

Different product but I have to agree with you about Elf for the win. I spent not just way too much money but time looking for an eyeliner that will stay in my waterline. Then one day at Target I decided to try Elf's waterproof gel liners. Lets just say I buy a backup every month. They only come in 2 colors but right now I'm okay with that because they're the 2 I use most often. However I do hope at some point they will add more shades. What I also hope? That they don't mess with the formula and/or discontinued them...

IMHO, neither two that Taylor mentioned nor the L’Oreal are dupes for the CT......I tried and tried and TRIED to make them a dupe......and they just weren’t. I’d consider them “similar” in look from afar, but that’s about it. Honestly, I have found that “dupes” are just as much a personal preference as anything else makeup related......just my opinion ☺️

effy kujo that’s what I now do with my CT as well.....I just never see the benefit of layering. Honestly, rarely do I have a product that “shows through” once my foundation is on.....yet, if I mix it in, totally different outcome. I will say this about the CT from my own experience.......I’ve had mine for over a year and I still have plenty of product. I’m sure the same goes for any one of the others as well. For me, personally, something may be really expensive but if it lasts a really long time, then the purchase is worth it for me.

I almost bought that but I was afraid that it would be super glittery, is it like chunky glitter or a nice sheen situation? 😊

Taylor, try the No7 Nude Illuminator, the Lift and Luminate concealer, the blushes, and the Lift and Luminate pressed finishing powder (with a sponge)

Have you tried any of the snail essence (I don’t remember the names) skincare? I want to get it but don’t know if it’s worth it
@kmendez94744 жыл бұрын
@@sydneyallred7228 the one from purito ? Yes, definitely recommend! Right now I'm using their fermented complex 94 boosting essence! I LOVE it. And the results I'm seeing so far. 😊

I've been using the brow blade for a year and have only been through 3 of them. It's the best - I constantly get compliments and have people ask me if my brows are microbladed (they are not). ❤️ If they ever discontinue, I will be lost.

It seems like every mascara I try flakes after a few hours and I end up looking like a raccoon 😭

Try a wax based formula. Really makes a difference

Try the thrive cosmetics mascara. It's a tubing mascara I've never in my life used a tubing formula until that one. But the essence lash princess is very good too. It's not a tubing formula but its amazing!

Yes I totally agree with you about the Monsieur big mascara it’s really wet, yah have to wait too long for it to dry in between layers. Also I thought I was the only one to love the physicians formula eye pen over high end versions. I’ve tried so many and haven’t found any that compare. I’ll have to try the other one you mentioned in the video.

I worked for Ulta as their aesthetician and lead MUA, but spent most my time working retail and my GM would get so annoyed that I always was truthful with products and real quick to show a customer a cheaper and better product. Drove him nuts!!

I definitely appreciate more affordable dupes like this. I am a big movie collector, but for that I buy a movie and I can keep watching the disc over and over theoretically "forever", but with makeup products they get used up and there are many more options, so I try to be more mindful of my spending on makeup.

I love the Brow Flick I’ve had the same one for over a year, and it stays on until I take it off with oil based cleanser even through a 13 hour shift when the rest of my face melts off, lol. Funny how different things work differently for different people. The best tip I got from Katie Jane Hughes, is if you are bending the tip when you are using it, you’re using too much pressure. I love these videos, I’ve gotten so many great recommendations from you over the years, so thank you!

I absolutely looove these videos! Especially cos here in France we don’t get all the products you mention in your videos so having multiple options for the same kind of effect (or better) is so helpful! Thank you! 💕🌸

For dry under eyes, I find the ELF HYDRATING concealer is just as full coverage with a tiny amount and is far more comfortable than the Covergirl one. I gave it to a daughter with normal under eyes.

I mean, if you make the one for foundations I will watch, but just because watching your vids brings me peace. You are a good presence in this world. I have oily skin so now I only watch your foundation videos to know which ones are too dewy for me. But hey! you post, I watch.
