This kind of content is why I’m more drawn to smaller channels! I love that you include clips of you applying the product to your face, be it eyeshadow or foundation. Exactly! I really hate how most beauty gurus who review products (especially foundation and concealers) are so far from the camera, and most of them have flawless skin and I’m like, “What the heck am I supposed to see??”

FINALLY someone who gets my love for the catrice dewy wet look stick! It rarely ever disturbs my base, only when I pile it on. I live in a very humid and polluted city, I sweat a ton all.the.time and now of course we wear masks but this just on the cheekbones still works.

I recently tried the Erin’s Faces concealer on the recommendation of Hannah Louise Poston in many of her videos and I was shocked at the formula. It felt like skincare. Almost like a Future Dew texture but not as heavy. I got a sample but I’ll be buying a full size. I feel it is truly a luxury formula.

Another great alternative to Lidstar are the Canmake Wink Glow Eyes! They're about $7 each on Amazon and I love them. The formula is really buildable and long-wearing and the shade range is pretty similar to Glossier too.

I have the Maybelline Cheek Heat in the color Nude Burn and it is majorly pigmented. I struggled the first time applying too much and didn’t even use a lot. I think that color in particular is really beautiful! And I picked it up because I saw Katie Jane Hughes use it in one of her IG stories!

I just love your close up shots! You REALLy show how the product looks & preforms closeup. Your reviews are extremely through and the comparisons SO helpful! The Kosas concealer looks so amazing, coverage without looking dry is so hard to find, seems more hydrating concealers are always light/sheer ...which absolutely have a place in my life but I still need options :) Oh wow! I do like cheek heat, the fuisha one is a little more pigmented but still sheer. I have 3 cloud paints but I do sometimes like the dewy finish of cheek heat

I love the look you are wearing in this. I love how flawless your eyes are. I am a similar color to you with a neutral (slight cool side) but more freckles, which are greeny grey? This can make my undertone look grey or even olive looking , I am from Ireland so also really fair esp in winter but tan really well?!?. WTF right. Perfect timing! I bought a Lidstar and was disappointed - a bit dry and, exactly like you said, took away some life from my eyes. Now for some reason I was going to give Glossier the benefit of the doubt and order another shade hoping it would magically be different and what I was expecting hahah but will definitely go with a Roen palette instead! Thank you so so much!!! So the elf hydrating camo wasn't my favorite but I don't think it's bad! I tend to find that it doesn't conceal the hollows under my eyes. It's difficult to find a concealer formula that kind of "flattens" that area but I feel like the kosas really does that. Kosas and fit me are my go-tos right now;

Thank you so much!! I would say if you feel shy at first...ease into it! Try wearing it at home and experimenting at home and then ease into it and see what makeup makes you feel more like you!! At the end of the day makeup should make you feel confident ♥️ and happy so just keep experimenting until you're there !!

I’m OBSESSED with the new cream bronzers from Fenty. The butta biscuit shade is super similar to the milk makeup baked bronzer, but I actually prefer the Fenty. It’s sheer enough to really look natural, but can be built up without gumming you and getting weird.

Amanda Z I’d definitely agree with that! I ordered a few blush shades but ended up returning all but cool berry (which I feel like is the one shade no one is trying - absolutely lovely). Ended up placing a Salt New York order and hope that blush is better! I except the bronzer and contour from that to be excellent as well

hey!! So I have a maybelline cheek heat and I had the EXACT same issue that you did! (Applying too sheer) BUT! I used a “swisspers” silicone blender and it worked surprisingly a lot better at applying the product!!! You could actually tell it was on my skin! lol
