I’m so glad you watched the China mail videos. I couldn’t believe it. Anyway please do not take this down. I respect honest reviews over fluff just so KZbinrs can get free diamond paintings. We pay for every one of ours and people like you show us where to spend our hard earned money. So thank you for your honest opinions about the company’s. I was taught if something seems too good to be true it usually is. You just saved a lot of diamond painters not only money but heartache. I honestly believe many companies send out the canvases with the rivers and bubbles more so now than before because we can repair them and unfortunately many people don’t contact the company or send items back with these flaws for that very reason. In my opinion companies send out substandard products because there aren’t many people who return them. They just repair them.

One of the reasons I subscribed and continued watching your channel is that you are honest and I feel as though I can trust the advise you give. However, you have also provided guidance to those of us who are new and trying to find reputable companies to buy from. I bought a 3 tier container with those "tictac" size boxes (on Amazon & it came with a few tools) & I think they're great for the shiny rhinestone type drills/crystals, since you'll have a lot less than regular drills & a few leftover of the larger size crystals (from coasters, bookmarks, small bags, etc)

The tic tac boxes fall over when you remove some to use. They get disorganized. I fixed that easily by cutting 1-1/2” strips from a manila folder and creating blocks of four boxes. In a 64 ct. box, I cut three of the 1-1/2” strips the width of the box and three strips the depth of the box, then I measured four boxes across (do this three times per long strip) and cut the 1-1/2” side more than halfway through. Cut the short strips more than halfway through the 1-1/2” side, between each box from front to back(so three cuts per strip). Then intersect the cuts (like in kindergarten with paper chains) to create a four by four grid inside the box. This will keep the boxes secure and in order. It is faster to do than to describe.

I agree with the other comments please do not take this video down, you have given an honest non biased review and for that we thank you. It’s unfortunate that items that we purchase are not in top condition when we receive them, either they are damaged in production or during the postage period. We cannot control the postal services unfortunately but we would like to think that what we are paying good money for would be produced with care with no defects. As you have demonstrated this does not always happen.

I have the 64 pc storage box and it’s not terrible at all. I also purchased a case from amazon with 80+ containers and netting on the opposite side to hold the tools. Overall works pretty well!

Ok so this is over a year old, which I get....I just got a beautiful DP from this company, and it was packaged perfectly.....the diamond tool does now have a multi placer....my canvas was not wrinkled at all, (a plus) and the photo and legend were dark and well seen. I will however note that MY Painting was mailed with in the USA and NOT from China.....so they have some items that ship only from the USA, which I prefer. I know longer order any products from China....only from the USA....I think it makes a huge difference. Love your channel, love your tips, and love this hobby....

I realize that it’s been a couple of months since you posted this review but I agree with the others that said you should leave it up. Diamond painters/consumers need to be warned about the potential for this to happen to them.

First time viewer, stumbled across by accident and glad I did. Firstly, the tic tac boxes. I love them, in fact I love them so much I bought 11. I use 10 to store drills in and they fit perfectly into my mobile make up case that I use for my DP stuff. The 11th box I use for my "Current project" and that lives in the top section. As for the project. As someone new to this hobby (Im on my 3rd, I think these are great. Yes, they are cheap and cheap nearly always means lower quality, But it has a lot of pluses. Each bag, I assume, contains 200 drills and I know I can get 5 or 6 bags comfortably into one of the tic tac boxes. Im a bigger fan of square drills rather than round. Yes there are better projects out there but I think for the money these are great. Ive bought a lot of things from Chinese suppliers and one thing that is consistent is that their customer service is usually somewhere between very poor and non existent. However, with prices that are usually about 80%-90% than a UK supplier its usually worth the risk. As for your review. I thought it was great. You haven't told us to buy it or not to buy it but you have pointed out pluses and negatives of the design and for me that's appreciated.

I’ve had this problem with a place called Spring DE on aliexpress,had two bad canvases from them spent good money, and they want you to try all these ideas to make the canvas work......thank for your info....stuck with drills and no painting!

I am so glad you did this video. I am now addicted to doing DPs and have received several many painting kits that do not include an inventory list. I’ve received kits with missing drills, wrong color drills. Response time has been very slow with some of the companies so I bought drills from an Etsy shop so that I could complete my paintings.

I absolutely wouldn't remove your video, they asked you to do an honest review, and you did exactly that! If they didn't research the factory from which they were buying the product, or intentionally chose to sell substandard kits, people deserve to know, and you have done your part in fulfilling your obligation. It sounds like this seller, may be having many difficulties, and are possibly on their way out anyway, but considering they're selling at DAC prices, with dollar store quality, your review was more than fair! I'm sorry that it's damaged and you may not be able to enjoy the image you love so much, but great job on the review! There is definitely something to be said for the top notch quality and customer service provided by Diamond Art Club!

I recently ordered a canvas from Amazon seller Runfar who sent it, from China, in an unpadded plastic garbage type bag. No box at all, not even a product box.. The post office folded it in half in the mailbox. It was crimped, bent, wadded up and smashed. I explained that it should be sent in a box or tube and they are refusing to refund or exchange. Amazon will make good on it, of course. But having to hassle with a badly packaged item is ridiculous. I am glad you are not tolerating it.

I've bought the tic tac boxes from 2 different shops. One was a little broken and it took me ages and a lot of asking to get them to send me a replacement. I haven't received the other ones yet. And they hold quite a lot actually, at least a 1000 drills! I've also noticed a few companies using green background for 310 and to honest I actually like it, because it makes it way easier to see grid lines. But I can see how some people might not like it because you can't see how the image will look like when finished. Sad to hear that the canvas is so bad though...

I bought the tic tac boxed from homecraftology and they are absolutely awful. The box arrived broken and the boxes do not hold much at all honestly. They are a waste of money. I had to message homecraftology about it arriving broken and they sent a replacement and that one arrived in worse shape than the first one. I now use the darice Elizabeth ward bead storage trays with the containers that come with it and they hold a a lot especially for the size of the containers and they arrive in perfect condition. I will never again purchase those horrible tic tac containers again.

Leave it up! They’re not responding to you speaks volumes. After a custom I ordered came with double adhesive ( no indication at ordering time) the 12x12 cm was riddled with with a couple of dozen very large River. Another company that I spent $53 on a canvas the symbol color did not match the color on the canvas and neither of them matched the drill color. 3 differential colors for a dmc number, very confusing. Some of the symbol printing was very faded and one particular symbol was extremely blurry I had to use a magnifying glass to figure it out. I had drills popping and was constantly resetting drills. I finally just put the canvas away. When someone was talking about the company, I politely gave my opinions based on the facts of the canvas. Some got very nasty and attacked me defending the company. I personally appreciate a honest and fair opinion. It saves me from buying from companies that sell poor quality products. I’m

How refreshing for an honest review and you should definitely keep this video up. You'd have thought they'd be bending over backwards to present themselves in as positive a manner as possible knowing that this video would become free advertising for them. It speaks volumes that such a poor canvas was sent, and the total lack of any customer service is incredible for a promotional piece. I do hope you can fix the canvas and that the finished painting at least brings you some joy. Keep doing what you're doing!!!
