Dude I was suprised with crankbaits I don’t like straight retrieve baits in general but dude if the bites in it’s on it’s really confusing but they work as good as anything else if u get on em especially smallies

Crankbaits slam them brother. Shallow water squarebills to deep bottom crawlers, some days fish act like they HAVE to eat it like they don't even have a choice.

The Bill Lewis ATV 1.5 is nearly impossible to snag, it's awesome! Even if you hit a clump of coontail, you can easily shake the treble hooks free of all the weeds and finish your retrieve. I picked one up based upon your previous recommendations. It's been one of my favorite purchases based on these Buyer's Guides.👍🏻🎣

One thing I absolutely love about the Deep 6 is how easy it is to crank for a deep diver. Also the ATV, enough said lol . I wrecked shop as Matt would say this fall dirt shallow on that BTC-50

Is a 7’2 MH fast action shimano expride b rod going to be a good all around rod for each of these different crankbaits. The reel is a shimano slx a with the mgl spool I think it’s around a 7.1.1

The Curado MGL 150 is the only Curado that I think is worth the money. Both of my main cranking rods (customs) have Curado 150 MGLs on them. Only Curados that I've kept and/or sought out. Probably a good thing that Shimano doesn't make an SLX 150 MGL.

3/4 oz nomad swimtrex max is only 66 mm long…..I catch more bass on the swimtrex max 66 than I do on the max 57….I’ve retired all my Jackall TN’s…I used to throw them for years and had a lot of success, but the swimtrex max can cast further and has more vibration than TN’s or LV 500’s.

What about a more budget friendly crankbait guide. Like crankbaits under $10 year round. I have a tendency to loose square bills and traps pitching them near cover. I have had a lot of success with Googan, strikeking KVD series, and 6th sense square bills.

I’m sure you guys have far more juice with Tackle Warehouse than I do. The Black November hasn’t worked for me. Breaking up the sale items by week has made it difficult to place a single order encompassing all my purchases. It’s promoted to guide loved ones to make the right purchases but then they would need to place weekly orders to take advantage of the sale prices. Maybe it’s just me but No Bueno!

Hey guys: This is a category I love so thanks for sharing. PS: you always talk about finding a high end and budget friendly option for each category out there which I think is great. That said one thing I’ve heard over the years I and you can apply this to any product: expensive doesn’t always mean good/great and inexpensive/budget doesn’t always mean cheap/garbage.
