Perfect solo boat ! I bought mine back in 1985 very similar! A 17ft smoker craft, replaced the wood floor like 10 years ago

Congratulations on the new boat. Much safer than the kayak for a solo fisherman. I fish 90% of the time alone. Love my 18 ft Champion, I can manage it on my own, and it fits in the garage. It’s tuff right now launching on that lake, with the drain happening right now. Enjoy the boat, and hope to run 🏃‍♀️ into you one day on the lake.

@@TheOutdoorConquest I've never owned or fished on a new boat. But I feel like I'd spend as much time keeping it clean as fishing in it. Nice to have something already dinged up so you don't have to feel about using it.

@@derekski88 that’s why I went from a brand new boat to one with some whiskey dings! My dog loves going on the boat too and his claws are hard on boat materials too. I’m hoping this one checks all the boxes. I used to do a lot of salmon fishing and had a big fiberglass walk around bow boat with a cuddy cabin. Was an awesome boat but just can’t find the time to run to Lake Michigan as much as I’d like. Maybe one day again

A one man war ship...words of advise..my buddy has the same style boat and his rod storage is in the same spot..on 3 separate occasions he cought himself in the leg with a trebble..his dog got hooked once..and I myself cought my jeans..maybe a simple fix would be just to take all treble hook baits off the rods when no fishing that what he did..also..nun of the fish I catch would fit in the livewell🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ..have fun..im a new sub..found u threw your brother pauly..seems we like the same things..
