Same here, it's like they have just vanished after investing so much time and worrying about them then nothing!
@denisegreene844110 ай бұрын
Think of it this way. They are on maternity leave. Most people don't go into the office during their maternity / paternity leave. We are all just co workers that spend 15 - 20 min a week with each other. They have put way more effort into that 15 min than "fans ". We just turn on a laptop or phone for 15 min. And watch a video. They have to film their whole life, edit, upload. I think they have earned time away with their baby.
@dianeyoung291410 ай бұрын
@@denisegreene8441 I don't in anyway begrudge them taking time out, they have earned it but they could have just done a typed message saying hey folks, everything is fine, baby is fine but we are going to take some time to just be new parents, especially as their last video was so fraught and left things up in the air.
@denisegreene844110 ай бұрын
In Canada we can. My partner took time with each of our babies. And they did do a welcome to the world to the baby, with pics. They mentioned they would be taking time off on that posting. Maybe everyone hasn't read it but they definitely left a message saying they would be taking time off to be with the baby. They did not give a timely e but I believe utube only allows six months of inactivity so they will have to post something within the next four months.

I built my own house in 2017 and lived in a 18 foot camper for 14 months while I built it. My most honest suggestion would be, finish one thing at a time. It is so much more rewarding that way. I started to many things at once and it did not take long to feel overwhelmed. Love you guys and congratulations! ♡
@noelbowerman156210 ай бұрын
I absolutely agree with that ,you will get sick of working on one part or one room ,but stick with it of you'll have half finished stuff every where. P.s I built my own home too.

We have a couple of chaps in our neighborhood/area who went into too many areas/projects and ended up selling as I think they got overwhelmed. Great advice!

I also agree on that! We bought a house and wanted to do all these things..then the heater died and 50k went there. So maybe I'm partial, but I'd put in a Good heating system (pellet+solar+wood?) And take one room at a time, living in it. Only that way you learn what you really Need. Some things Just don't serve you as well practically as you'd think in theory. Basic stuff like placement of the built in furniture, placement of lighting, even sleeping arrangements..go minimal until you figure out what you really Need. And have fun!❤

Missouri USA. I have worked as a nurse for mental health 20+ years. Please remember, you can only do as much as you can and always take time out in the day to clear your mind and take a long walk, rather it be in nature or in Clustered. close your eyes let go of your feelings and just talk to yourself. Self-talk is normal. And it will help you clear you feeling and even yell. Just getting it off your chest will help you maintain stability. I believe Amy is a great partner and a wonderful listener. You are a wonderful couple, and strength to each other. I am so happy you guys got you keys. Now let the party begin. 🧨🎊

Amazing to see you both back on the road again! There’s just one thing I have to mention as a plumber regarding the pipe fittings on the repair you made, the fittings need to be tightened! The push fit fittings are brilliant but I’ve seen these things fail so many times when not tightened up. They’ll hold for so long but they will inevitably fail, all they need is a quarter turn just hand tight. Hope this helps and prevents any future waterfalls! Love your videos! Keep being you and inspiring us all🤟🏼

In Canada when there is a closing date, the keys are to be turned over to the lawyer. If the seller failed to do that, they can have to pay the buyer for the inconveniences ie hotel rooms etc for why they are not turning the keys over. I hope you are being compensated for the delay.
@katealison608710 ай бұрын
I noticed your comment because I've got a friend in the States who has her real estate license. She is blown away by the chaotic and stressful house selling/buying process in the UK. It really is ridiculous and you're at the whim of either party at any moment. It's so incredibly stressful. I know in the States everything's laid out with set mutual deadlines and once you put in an offer you have to proceed otherwise there's financial penalty. The only time that happens in the UK is when you exchange contracts, which happens right at the very end typically. I'm just about to buy a property in Scotland and I'm grateful that in theory the buying process there is 6-8 weeks, rather than the three to four months in England. But having watched this I think we may potentially find ourselves renting somewhere in between! It's all worth it though as Scotland is so beautiful. Canada as well!
