I think the Jeep is a smarter move than something like the Winnebago. I've driven a van through plenty of tight roads in Europe, the Winnebago would struggle. The Jeep's mileage might be pretty grim, but not significantly worse than anything bigger.

Thanks SwnGwyrdd, kind of along our same lines of thinking. We'll see what type of gas mileage we'll get once all is said and done. But at least it is also going to be able to fit inside a container for transoceanic shipping which was a big factor in our decision. Our first video in the build series went live last Thursday. Kind of an overview. The next one in the series should be out this Thursday and it will feature the Alu-Cab Canopy Camper which we've decided on as our habitat. ~ Eric

Awesome Whitley. So yes, kind of still on track. We picked up the Gladiator May 31st, we dropped him off on time, but several of our components hadn't arrived. So we were pushed back a week.
