Hi can I ask what type of carpet is best buy to stay stain free and look clean? We bought a really cheap carpet years ago it was really firm low amd thin and cheap backed, but it looked and stayed clean the whole time we had it. No more than a few years ago we replaced it with an expensive felt backed dense pile carpet and it flattened fast shows traffic stains and forever looks dirty, stains easy and all sorts of debris sticks to it. We have since purchased a carpet cleaner an expensive vacuum cleaner and chemicals and its became a chore and looks filthy. None of the stains ever clean away and its always looking dirty. The carpet is apparantly stain resistant too. We cant stand it any longer we want to replace it and change it for a carpet that performs better and remains clean looking and stain free, what type pf carpet could you recommend please?
