This really makes me happy to see people still play there 3ds's and 2DS's in 2021. I really love my 2ds xl so much that I can't imagine ever getting rid of it and it's alot of fun to play.

I saw a black one with blue outlining at a pawn shop AND OMG I didn’t expect them to actually be quite heavy 😅💀unless it just felt like that bc I expected the 2ds to be just feel like light plastic like some handhelds do 💀 but tbh feeling one made me consider getting one ! People were right about the placements making it comfortable to hold!

I have a 2DS myself, it's very...well loved over the years ahaha the sleep mode switch is jammed from dirt that I can't quite get out so I can't use sleep mode unless I want it randomly going into sleep mode while I'm playing without the switch even being flipped

ahhh i want the 2ds as well - but in lavender!! it’s annoying how they release cute colours/limited editions in japan; the import tax is really piling up for me hahaha. ｡･ﾟ･(ﾉД｀)･ﾟ･｡ what proxy service do you use to buy from mercari btw? i used buyee for a console i recently bought and i’m a bit worried after reading plenty of bad reviews.

For real! Sometimes it’s hard to find a good condition console that can be played fully in English with US games. I never bought anything from Japan yet but whenever I do I want to try using buyee.

Is this 2ds the Japanese version ? If so I want to know if you have the choice to change it to English

The 2DS and 3DS consoles are region locked. Even if you had the Japanese version and you were to change the language to English it still wouldn’t play any American titles. You could only play games bought directly from Japan. If you payed attention you’d have noticed that someone had changed the motherboard to one where she could play American titles.

A 2DS can play both 3DS and DS game cartridges. It essentially like if the Switch had a 3D function and the Lite did not.
