Today I went to a local 7 eleven in bangkok thailand in order to buy a local sim card for my phone. This day did not go as planned but we made it happen.

Laos was more brutal than Thailand. The atms took a commission and my bank didn't recognize the commission. Moral of the story, they took 10 dollar fee.

I was charged by the ATM 220 baht per transaction and then charged international by my back.. $5, so $6 and then $5, $11 USD per transactions .

@@evanwaters4716 Labor is so cheap in Thailand. How much cheaper is it at 7/11. Yes, in the USA, Airport vendors want crazy money. I didn't see that type of economic activity in Thailand.
