Grand i10 AT is a guzzler avoid it if mileage matters. You won’t get anything more than 7-8kmpl in city. And in 2019 it was available for 7.5L otr in Bangalore after discounts, so 6.5L is way too high. Polo GT again has DSG which is notorious. Get a brand new car any day. Magnite CVT is a great VFM 👍

Recently 5 months back I bought used polo gt tsi 1.2L ENGINE 35k only drove single owner performance wise still lit ❤️❤️ that potti during traffic easier to go ... Volkswagen service thoda sa karcha hogaya but all over excellent ... Sports mode it's like mini rocket ... Coz we paid know i got this for decent deal of 5.8L .... You can opt gt Anna .... Really worth ❤️ this is my first car got on my own money 5yrs of dream .... All the love from CHENNAI

I10 doesn’t have Hill hold assist, you will struggle big time on slopes and in traffic without hill hold assist on AMT with a low power engine. Don’t think about extra couple of lakhs but go for polo tsi, you will also get cruise control

I think instead of focussing too much on the amenities the car has to offer perhaps you should just fix a budget and just go for any good car that comes for that range as it's a secondary car. (New or Old). I hope it will be city driven, so a hatchback makes sense for parking etc. While you may have a prejudice for AMT gear boxes I feel they aren't that bad for driving in the city..

sriman anna try honda jazz you can find those automatic jazz with an automatic gearbox and range driven of 50k at price point 6lakh to 7.5 lakh and dont hesitate about honda engines they are built for reliability and power packed performances and a Honda engine can comfortably do some where around 3 lakh kms undoubtedly Also consider the inflation rate of new cars which are very high and then decide to the price and feature you need go for a honda jazz which have the specifications mentioned above

Sriman try Polo GTI it has around 200 bhp, just see if you can get a hold of that car from your followers I am not sure if you can get it in India as it has been stopped but if you can get, it has the best acceleration among Indian cars and can even compete with luxury sports cars in acceleration. I have driven it in Vizag and used it for couple of weeks and i think it’s the best small car in India but it’s expensive.

VW Polo though you can get it for better price if you bargain, but the service cost will be high and especially if DSG conk off. And you already ve one German and a second beater car should be cheap and reliable. Suggest getting used Hyundai/Maruti automatic. works out better for your case. Its anyway your second car, it need not be a new one.

Do buy polo GT TSI so that u can almost feel like BWM but don’t compare. As a hatchback 276% u will get satisfied for sure as u get used to it . And yeah even bhabhi can also learn easily because it’s small in size and more in pickup it feels like king in BMW and queen in polo Hopefully you will buy polo gt. But after 80k kms Hyundai will give troubles. And last advice whichever car your taking please once take a car mechanic and say him to check and test drive Thank you !

i10 is cheap because it's four speed at and has terrible fuel economy. if you are okay with that fine. baleno cvt, brio are good buys in used. new ignis amt, amaze cvt, i120 ivt, baleno, i10 you can get in range don't think amts are bad with 4cyl engines it will be barely noted. cvt and other options are not suited well for small cars. don't fall for turbos simple 4cyl na engines will be fill it shut it forget it and tenson free.
