I bought $4-5 anime figures from Aliexpress to see if there are worth it, the results may just amaze you!
When on a budget websites like Aliexpress offer affordable anime figures, with a massive range of anime merchandise and memorabilia.
I wanted to see just how good, or bad these would be so I ordered 6 $4-5 anime figures from demon slayer (kimetsu no yaiba) to test this out.

Agreed have also said this in other vids, if you know they are not great but that is all you can afford to get then 100% get it, I love the acrylic stand figures from aliexpress though they are not official they are still great. Everyone has their own budget for me this is also why I don't buy scale figures and just buy prize figures. Thank you for the comment have a great day!

It's funny how all those crappy bootleg figures gets blown away by my klee bootleg figure from genshin impact. I know that the character is made by Chinese so I'm not entirely sure if it's easier for them to make a decent bootleg. But then again even I've seen Japanese anime characters bootleg figures have good ones too. That one I have cost me $24.50 ($25.50 +shipping) while the original figure actually cost about $122. I'm actually surprised how great looking that klee bootleg figure looked like. It's somewhat similar except for some very minor differences mainly the original has finer paint and has more detail. But for the price of the bootleg it looks amazing. Also its isn't just a normal size figure it's 1/7 size figure. I kinda wanna see you review it because it actually looks decent. I bought from shopee though. I'm not sure if the prices would be different from where your from. And the shipping too might be different. The seller was anime and toys world. Seeing the online store I already know it had bootlegs but atleast they klee wasn't as bad.

Some bootlegs I have seen and people have shown me are indeed amazing at low cost its not bad finding out its a boot leg but when cost ramps up and some even similar price to the resly thing can really catch people out and leave you disappointed

Definitely seems like bootleg figures are getting better, these ones can just about pass the "across the room test" some of the older bootlegs I have are so bad that you can notice how bad they are even at a decently far away distance.

Aliexpress prices are lower bc they work directly with manufacturers in china instead of selling and selling and selling an item to someone before you buy it from them. For quadruple the price. And truth be told so far as someone who buy electronics (mostly cosmetics), anime figures/toys, anime clothing (mostly custom designs) they are pretty good quality. I've order over 20 times and touch wood I've only had 1 item i was dissatisfied with. Also i want to mention that they don't have everything. If you are an old school anime fan from the 90s early 2000-2004 you can find an item or two but don't expect to find literally everything. This is why i do a lot of custom t-shirts. Also when it comes to figures I've gotten shaman king, demon slayer, my hero, chainsaw man. They are all good.

That will be why wish.com is crazy prices these days. For what tpu pay for these they are good but are by no means perfect and lack in alot of ways when side by side of an official one. But though I find how some of them look to be funny, I have always believed you have to work within your budget you have. This is why I don't buy scales, as its outside of my budget, but prize figures are within it. I think I have only ever had 1 order not turn up from ali express. Going to be trying Temu soon since its the new kid on the block so need to test it out :) Thank you for the comment 😊

I only have 2 action figures,one is paimon from genshin impact and the other is shinobu from demon slayer and I must say that i got shinobu from ali express and paimon from daraz and it's safe to say that ali express is way better in terms of quality cuz nothing came broken I'm on a really tight budget and I'm thinking of getting another figure for my birthday but all of them are way to expensive so i like to always check the reviews for the cheap ones. I would like to ask that which character from demon slayer is a must have for your collection? (I know it depends on the person buying it but i want to get a bit of advice from you guys as well)

For me nezuko or tanjiro is my go to from demon slayer I do like alot of the other characters but alot of the figures I have seen I am more drawn to these ones. I am looking to do a video soon (depending on delivery times) of items from Temu, which is everywhere lately it seems and see what they are like for price, quality and shipping. Another thing is if you can acrylic stand figures on ali express all the ones I have had have been perfect and so much cheaper than the ones in stores and quality is just as good, in my experience anyways :)

I agree some are amazing on budge some for me personally not so much, but on a budget if this is all you can get I highly recommend the acrylic stand figures from aliexpress all I have had have been amazing, with thr exception of 1 loose base

Always had the intention of repairing loads of them and doing videos of the process, as I have done a couple where I have repainted a fake funko pop or made a custom base, definitely on the cards to still do at some point :)

Again, i also have the nezuko figure as well as Zenitsu and giyu. The paint job was pretty poor for me too so I repainted some of the little details to make it better!

I did start a project of repainting nezuko like I have done with a fake funko pop, but the base coat paint a bought (most expensive one I have ever gotten) was horrible and ended up ruining the figure so was a video I had to give up on. Thank you for watching 😀

probably easier to get quality acrylic stands since its just printed on acrylic sheets and cut out, versus the bootleg figures when the molding or casting is imperfect and the paint job is quick and sloppy to get these really mass produced by hand

Yeah definitely easiy but the upside as well is that from what incan see they are using a quality printer as well as these stands have alot of detail and colour vibrancy 😊

I did buy Godzilla action figures from them it was cheap and bootleg but I knew that only problem is it took way to long to ship to me which had me scared and China and states well they take 24 hours to get a message lol so whenever I got message back it was 2,3 am which is ok different time zones and then I was scared 😨 to they sometimes don't understand English lol

When you do get a job or do get spare money there is definitely alot of places you can get some anime merch and figures at a good price as not to break the bank, I would recommend the acrylic stand figures from ali express or mystery minis from funko pop as they will cost you about $3-6 dollars compared to $30 for a real prize figure.

I’m a anime fan since I was 13-14. Now I’m 22 and got my first anime Figur last year. I think that I appreciate my Figures more because I waited so long. There is a lot of merchandise that is cheaper then figures! Just buy what you can afford and don’t stress about it. You can always start to build your perfect nerd room when you can afford it. I agree you do what you can on what budget you have if that's other cheaper merch or bootlegs till the time you can get the ones you really want. People hate bootlegs and believe you should never buy them but that is also normally people who have the extra money to pay...or are the people selling them We can only afford what we can and there is nothing wrong with that :)

Understandable, and yeah not everything in there is fake, but I am also the same.with figures, I like to see the difference between these fakes and the real ones but I prefer getting the real prize figures and displaying them. But a still aliexpress is great if you have a lower budget and still want that character...juat have to accept that the quality will not always be the best....though there are exceptions
